Irrelevant, we all know ML got for a bargain. But the fact remains if we gave our cash cards to friends and they said they needed a tenner, but you find out they actually took 50 quid, you wouldn't be impressed. We are talking millions rather than tens or twenties.

No need to disclose how I know this is the case, but I do not think any of us would be happy if our own personal money was being spent without full disclosure.

As a regular follower of Dutch football for a number of years, your comment made me laugh. Pelle for the last two seasons has been as good if not better than RVP and Huntelaaar were when they played in Dutch league. I am not saying he is better than RVP by any stretch but as a goal scorer he is as clinical as someone like Huntelaar. Not **** and would be a very good replacement and an upgrade to Lambert of last year.

Screw what he wants, turn the bid down, say he is not for sale. If he doesn't like it then tough titties. He has just got in the England set up so will not let his performance drop for us if we make him stay.

Lots of contenders, Lovren and Lallana have both been awesome for us this year. My vote will go to Jay Rodriguez though as I think he has been the key figure to how Saints have played this year with his pace, work rate and attacking nature in the final third.

Make the FA Cup winners one of England Champs League spots and play semi finals not at Wembley, the only way this will get the FA Cup meaning something again. I used to love FA Cup Final day regardless of who was in it. It now means nothing seemingly to any clubs

Yeah would love to see our players that have just forced themselves into England squad and the ones banging on the door leave the club and play without freedom because we are battling at the bottom. Would love us to not be an attractive proposition for better players. It would be great to go down and not know if we will play man city again whilst preparing to play yeovil at home. All for the sake of one day out in the league cup. yeah i would swap our position in a heartbeat
