That is exactly what I have heard from a friend who is connected is with SFC. The game was originally planned to be played at Staplewood but got switched to SMS for this "potential investor" to see the ground, squad etc

To get this thread back on track.... I'll be at the march/protests as will my mates.

I had an email this Morning saying the demo will start at 1:15 at the Bargate castle. This info was from the facebook group admin. They have 1,200+ group members and growing.

I think the guys from the Facebook group are arranging thing with the OB, Media etc I guess there will be some more concrete times and Place in the next day.

It has also been suggested that all people who want to march in protest should meet up at the Guildhall.

For those not on facebook someone has posted this proposal... On Saturday, 31 January 2009, there will be a protest from the park opposite K.F.C in the town centre, down to the ground. The walk down to the ground will start at 13.30pm. We do ask if possible for you to be there at 13.15pm just so we know how many people will be attending. We will then protest outside the ground for about 15-20 minutes before going into the ground. We also ask that if you have yet to get a ticket that you purchase one for the Northam or the Itchen and not the Chapel or the Kingsland. Banners/ sings are welcome if you can get them into the ground. I know you will have other questions and I will try to answer them. I met a Daily Mail sports jurno at a wedding 18 months ago. I asked him what he knew about sfc (this was during all the speculaion on paul Allen etc). He replyed that he was very good friends with Rupert Lowe. This guys was called Matthew. I've text the wife to find out his surname as it's her directors brother-in-law.
