I do feel we missed the ball here a bit though. With hindsight we knew his name ages ago and if we had got those with access to the company accounts to check up on him then we would have know about his absence of a p*ssing pot. I fear we failed in our nutjobness by just assuming that because he was said to be a property developer we, like PST, assumed he could back up his promises.
-
Hopefully an in-depth discussion about how he was so lost in his own world that he found himself alone in the court room after everyone had left.

If you are selling a club would you get more for one in league 2 with no points penalty or one in league 1 with a 10 point penalty? Wonder if chinnys plan is that he realises that if the takeover happens now they are all but consigned to league 2 where as if he can prolong admin (with a much cheaper admin I would guess) then as long as he can get permission in feb for admin to continue then there is a reasonable chance they can avoid relegation at which point he (or rather his tame admin) would sell the club for more that the PST are able to rustle up.

Time for the trust to wheel out one of the "other favourable options" they claim to have had?
-
So we may have got to the right answer via the wrong route. REL ltd are nothing to do with it but REL are and they don't have any money to buy with. Question is if this had not come out now what on earth would have happened? Would they have just sent an IOU to PKF?
-
One of these I assume is the real one so has someone got the wrong end of the stick with this other REL?
-
Being pompey related have you looked for REL (2009), REL (2010), REL (2011) or REL (2012)?
-
When PKF ask for an adjournment do they have to do so in front of the court and do they have to give a reason?
-
Stay warm in the current cold snap by burning your bridges!
-
So am I right that Chinny was going to go to court and say "I know the club could sell for more than the PKF deal to the trust so rather than set a price for that deal can you instead put this other admin in place so they can sell for more so I get a better return on my debt?". PKF then got drift of this so called an adjournment to figure out what to do.

I would add the relevant ical to the google web calender then it should sync with the calender on your phone. or: Go to google calender: https://www.google.com/calendar/render?tab=wc On other calenders click the little down arrow to the left and select 'Browse interesting calenders' Select Sports tab then Football then English Premier League. Then select subscribe next to Saints. After a while southampton should appear as a calender on your phone though you may need to select it to get them to show.

If I was the judge i would say "I have here a number of lower valuations based on the site being used for football and a higher valuation based on the site being used for development. As such I will allow the administrators to sell the site for the lower figure but will insist that the difference between the valuations is paid should the club fold or move such that the site can be used for development" a.k.a. pass the hot potato to the property developers.

Just remember that unlike most tech you will have less problems if you block up any vents before you start.
-
But... But... But... It's Trust or Bust.... or not.
-
Not sure about that. If pompey are wound up there will be no football club which means when they come to sell the assets (i.e. the ground) it will be worth more and most of that will go to chinny?
-
I hope they are good at aiming otherwise the sh!t will hit the fans.

When the land is valued if they are going to come up with a single figure I assume the people doing the valuation have to make assumptions about its use, e.g. a field for farming will be valued at less than the same field for houses. What's the betting that the trust have got all their valuations based on the assumption that the site will continue to be used as a football 'stadium' but that chainrai has got a valuation based on the redevelopment potential of the site?
-
and what chance anyone getting a figure of how many 1k 'donations' they have received so far?
-
How about a t-shirt slogan of "Goodbye and Thanks For All the Fish Jokes"?
-
The moral of the story being that anyone doing anything with respect to pompey should require payment up front.

[h=3]Page 8 of the share prospectus shows a 19% growth in revenues between the 2013/14 & 2014/15 seasons. What is driving this growth? Considering that it is likely that we will be playing in League Two, with no guarantees of promotion back to League One, how is it considered prudent to show such growth?[/h]Initial ‘due diligence’ undertaken has indicated that there are a number of areas, including hospitality and merchandising, which are currently providing a poor return for the club. In consequence, it is felt that there is the potential to drive significant revenue growth in those areas. A more detailed review of the club’s operational activity is currently underway to help the new club Board better understand how this increased revenue can be achieved. In addition the model anticipates increased attendances / season ticket sales as the club re-connects with its fan base. The business model assumes League 1 football for the next five years. In practical terms relegation does not have a huge impact on external revenues (eg TV money) and a successful side in League 2 would, more than likely attract larger gates than a struggling League 1 club.

Oh dear, losing 1-0

Bury, Carlisle and Oldham all winning at the moment.

Would very much like to know how he is able to distinguish exactly who turns up at matches. Does he have a photographic memory and is able to scan and remember everyone who enters FP?

I think once the other officials came out saying they heard nothing and no one else supported the accusation then I think Chelsea should have withdrawn the complaint as the result was very predictable.
