Fuck. Lavia coming off, looks like Diallo coming on.
-
Probably the right 3 to come off as they all look a bit gassed, but crikey what a 3 to bring on. Our right side looks extremely vulnerable.
-
Triple sub upcoming for saints.
-
Come on Saints, settle it down.
-
Weak from AMN.
-
He definitely got lucky with only a yellow there.
-
Get in you beauty.
-
Tall Paul looks absolutely fucked, his shirt is soaked to the bone in sweat.
-
AMN having a bloody awful 5 minutes. Shame as he started well (for him).
-
Yep, not sure how this ref has let him off that.
-
The commentator really can’t get our keeper’s name. Bazuanu is his latest attempt.
-
Fuck me, this ref man.
-
It’s a 4. JWP seems a bit deeper than under Jones.
-
ABK knee problem again?
-
15 minutes in, very impressive. We seem to have gone back to playing a high line so we look a bit susceptible on the break, but overall a really good start.
-
A bit of a flappy save from Bazunu that. Thankfully nothing from the corner.
-
Why didn’t he ever say so?
-
Good feet for a big man there from Tall Paul.
-
What an opportunity, great pace from Sulemana.
-
Our kit reminds me of the 2010 sash kit. White shorts and black socks. Decent look.
-
I’m not sure I trust the commentator on the channel I’m watching, he’s just described Bazunu as one of Saints’s rare positives this season.
-
There’s one already and we haven’t even made kick off.
-
I’m not sure if I can raise my motivation levels to actually watch the game. I was quite looking forward to it until I saw that lineup. Now I’m just hoping we don’t get embarrassed.
-
Where is Salisu? Injured? DCC not making the 20 either, but Janny B and Lyanco in ffs.

Well, time will tell. If he can galvanise the players then there’s not really much wrong with giving him the rest of the season, but we’ll have to wait and see what the player response tomorrow is. He’s obviously a confident man and it seems like he can get ideas across. We obviously all hope he can have an instant impact on performance and if he can sneak some sort of result then wonderful. I still think that, having been part of the coaching makeup since the start of the season, he must be somewhat culpable for that. So, a well polished press conference doesn’t yet provide me with a huge amount optimism. Nathan Jones set the bar so low that this seems like a step up already, but it’s just a press conference and we’ll get an actual idea of where we are around this time tomorrow.
