Not sure but I'm pretty sure we've only won 3 league games in a row once since the tail end of the Koeman last season when he did it. We often come close but game 3 is drawn. I don't think we've won 4 in a row for a very long time.

I've not seen a bunch of people on a forum analysing flights this bad since I was on the Cardiff Forum when they lost Sala. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Que Sera Sera and all that. I have more faith in our current leadership than I've had in a long time and they seem to know what they're doing. Remember Leeds' have to sell to buy and that's not happening either. We're in a much better position. Yes I've woken up positive this morning despite a bad night being ill. AMN will happen, the City boys will happen, Badé will happen and Gakpo? Reading the Leeds forum they don't think they'll get Gakpo. It seems they are living the buy to sell spending model that we had under Gao. They're also more interested in bringing in a striker than a winger hence the big for the Wolves lad. I think we're in the driving seat for this one but it's dependent on PSV. Still a lot could go wrong. Gone quiet on the exits for Bednarek, Stephens, Valery and Romeu hasn't it! Has Redmond even been linked with anyone? I wouldn't be averse to keeping him as back up anyway. I guess Bednarek is dependant on West Ham selling Dawson. And Dawson wants to leave so that'll probably happen, although they have also been linked with... Vestergaard.

Piss off Leeds. And anyway, I still don't understand big clubs clamouring after Dan James. He's far from perfect, inconsistent, lack of end product. Of available wingers I'd rather Adama Traore or Ismaila Sarr if I were Spurs... or from Leeds Jack Harrison who is probably the better player. All IMO from what I've seen. .

It's probably just due to years of supporting Saints and being disappointed with so many transfers but I still think we'll miss out on Gakpo somehow. Just a hunch something will happen or someone will usurp us or PSV will stop it somehow. I reckon AMN will be done (someone said he's already in Southampton?) And the City boys and Badé will come in but we'll be left looking for our attacking talent on deadline day. Of course I'd love to be proved wrong as it would be a big statement of intent.

I was going to say, even though there’s no agreement between clubs yet, we’re still able to agree personal terms right? I’m sure I’ve seen transfers where everything has been agreed between the buying club and the player leaving just the two clubs to come to an arrangement… I guess we’ll know when the PSV team is announced later.
