  1. Yep Thankfully much better than the last flybe home panel
  2. see the way aap3 is printed on the training shirt. almost certainly that will be what we get on the home shirt.
  3. So stripes are thicker this year with white sleeves. Possibly black running down the sleeves and black collar? Interesting
  4. Why is everyone so gullible, we are NOT changing the badge and none of the mock ups are real....lol
  5. System is key too 442 is seen as too rigid these days. Whether we have to personnel (yet) to play 433 successfully is open to debate.

With decent backup in terms of Chaplow and trying to bring Ward-Prowse through, perhaps. A similar-ish formation to Barca, except with no well-defined Busquets role, all three midfielders being responsible for breaking up play, retaining possession and moving forwards with a relatively fluid front-line also, as Lambert is as capable as Lallana and Chamberlain at switching position along the attack. Not quite the same footballing philosophy, but in terms of positional set-up and fluidity, I think it could work. I don't think Barnard could fit into such a side seamlessly, though, which is why I'd look at getting a more versatile intelligent forward in. I think it could work. Very interesting post. Whether it comes this year or next, the big plan at SFC is (as I understand it) to coach 4-3-3 from the 7 year olds all the way through to the first team. Irrespective of change of personnel. To play the "southampton way" as we have heard in the past regarding development. * ** *
  7. It's horrid IMO and won't happen. IMO it will be stripes, there will be a fair bit of black on the trim on sleeves and neck line which will not have a raised collar. The away will be yellow & blue.
  8. The away kit is yellow & blue...that much is obvious
  9. Hmmm no, that would be pretty strange IMO!
  10. The top is exactly the Canadian national shirt with a different badge.
  11. I like the cock (collar) on the cosmos. The material on the kit is 20% cotton too (the same as the england shirts) really comfortable. Dont like the rovers collar. @ the9, you seen all the umbro England retros?? Very nice!
  12. agreed, bad collar and bad shirt
  13. Don't know where speculation came from about the badge this year. It was never gonna change
  14. Alot more black in the ball this year which may indicate black trim on our home shirt.
  15. I think financial fair play rules & or accounting are the issues here
  16. Which leads us back to the original ?uestion.... Why release the home shirt in late July when we would have had thousands sold already?
  17. The current shirts are timeless. I know for a fact demand was high and they could have sold many many more.
  18. Yes but Adrian they had pretty much sold out of the home kit a month or so before the last home game (other than xxl xxxl etc etc) Seems very odd to me, but I assume it is for the july cutoff for club accounts. Maybe why no signings yet too?
  19. Sure you have. Me too
  20. It's gonna be stripes ffs
  21. yes!!! means i get to watch us here in canada get in
  22. I don't know if your the only one, but I certainly dont think it will. It's a bit garish.
  23. No loss IMO, young and can improve but a bit bambi like IMO Would have been more disappointed had he signed
