This has nothing to do with tickets ffs. This is an old fued involving franny Matt and lawrie. Matt is my footballing idol, and he is one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet but he'd not perfect. I don't know everything that has gone on but I think both sides should keep there mouths shut when speaking to the press as it only damages the clubs name. Cortese should of said no comment, though he may have been misquoted IMO. Matt will be livid and I can completely understand why. Jeff can say what he likes they are good mates and that's his job.

Always interested to hear from cortese, doesn't happen often. He's done a great job.

He's done a great job, the team was lost when he came in. He is full of cliches, but he is always so positive and that is infectious. Hope he goes down in history and gets the support to take us up and keep us there (which will not be cheap)

People in general dont like dealing with Cortese, thats bloody obvious. Deals have fallen through im sure because of his antics- it's known in the club and outside as well. At the end of the day though, we are top of the league. He has bought in some good players and its been a fantastic couple of years. So for now........whatever, it's not worth my brain power.

Funnily enough, a friend of the family who works for Chelsea has coached cork since the age of 9 and thought that he was limited as a player & that he would struggle to become a pro. I was quite surprised to hear that but he said he was an absolutely top bloke.

think people are harsh on seabourne, he is better than martin at this stage of his career imho. still think we can improve though - martin needs a season on loan at league one

I'm confident with fonte, davis I think will do fine. Think that Harding will do ok and that Dickson has a chance. Seabourne is the 2nd most cultured cb we have but I think the jury is out. Jaidi had an excellent last half of the season but a liability on the ground against pace. Martin needs to go out on loan badly and play. Butterfield has been solid and crossing from deep fantastic (if only he was a bit quicker and could get to the byline!), Richardson has been a big dissapointment. I think we look weak here but I think Stevens from Plymouth may be fast tracked. We will sign another centre back, that is pretty obvious.
