Nearly 5000 members now in 36 hours. Not too shabby.

Fantastic news, let's do this!

I have just received the following: Simon Great to see this group with plenty of members. I represent a group of fans who have already formed a company SAVE OUR SAINTS. We have been working on a proposal for a "Fans Consortium" of some sort for the last few weeks. We planned to go "public" after the Forest game but now the goalposts have moved(!) we are now working tirelessly to "launch" next week. Its important that we galvanise the supporter base and all pull together to achieve what could be monumental. I would be grateful if you could use this group to canvass opinion on people contributing....anything from £100 will be as important as £10000! If you have any questions please email me at saintsfansconsortium@yahoo.com Many thanks Mark

It's not for pledges, it's a think tank, getting idea's running.

Over 3000 now guys. Fantastic.

I'm already on the case for Lucy Pinder.
-
What's the drummer in Coldplay's name, he could help out as well.

Ok guys, just received this message through the Facebook group about a way to raise money for Southampton. What does everyone think. This may be a winner. You may be aware that we have been running a fundraising campaign in association with the Utility Warehouse. They’re a FTSE-250 listed company and have just won a "Best Buy" recommendation from Which? magazine. But unlike most fundraising campaigns, this one won’t cost you anything to take part - in fact, you’ll actually be better off too! This new 3 minute video starring French and Saunders will give you a better idea of what the Utility Warehouse is all about - simply click on this link and let me know what you think: http://www.uwdcvideos.co.uk/?exref=C74560 Every supporter of your cause who joins saves money on their bills - and then you receive a percentage of what they have spent every month. Luton Town FC are raising funds using this initiative - http://www.hatterscfr.co.uk/ Please give me a call if you would like me to come and explain more to you

I agree, but maybe they need to be pushed...

Need to investigate who the money is going to, but we could try and get a few thousand for this couldn't we? ? Hi guys, im a Liverpool fan but i study at Southampton Solent Uni and i have worked within the clubs academy which deserves help also to maintain its status as one of the best if not best in the country!! I really hope the club gets an investment and stays in the Championship!! I know any sort of money for the club is massive and Our Uni saturday team, Team Solent have reached the final of the Southampton Senior Cup Final which is being played at St Marys on April 28th. The tickets are only 5quid and would be a great chance for the club to make some much needed money if we could get a few supporters turning out!!!! Good luck tomorrow saints!!

Just over 2400, fair play guys. Don't forget to post it to all your contacts!

He just wanted to see the reaction. Obviously not great. But outside the ground it may be a good idea.

From the Facebook Group, re atmosphere. This one from an Adam Goddard: just a last minute thought, does anyone know anyone who can play the trumpet??? a band or trumpet playing oh when the saints would really ring home tomorow, they could play outside the stadium and inside, would be pretty kick ass, and dont think its ever happened down SMS, they do it at the england games so cant see why instruments would be banned, surely someone must know a trumpeter or someone with one of those drums that can be carried??? make it happen!*

And up and over 2000 in 18 hours. We still need more though.
-
Lol, please don't...
-
Don't forget, any updates you have let me know so I can post it to the people we have in the group. Thanks, Simon UTS

Get there for when the players do and take a collection from them. -
How much would you put in to own our club
Dibden Purlieu Saint replied to derry's topic in The Saints
Adding the amounts of money from above, it works out at £442,750. That's a fair whack considering... -
Over 1500 now and growing.
-
Up to 1250 now.
-
I've started to Twitter people already, and MySpace is always worth trying
-
Almost up at 1000 in under 12 hours.
