That 1000 would still make a difference. Either way it is qualified within the sentence as 'even 1000' to make the point that there are likely more, but that even if the number was that low, it would have made a difference. And this is where people who don't/can't read the thread properly are getting confused. I agree the demise of our club is down to Lowe. I don't deny this. However, the difference purely between SLH being solvent ad insolvent was actually quite a small amount of cash (perhaps Lowe, Wilde or Crouch could/should have helped out ) but I believe that even 1000 stay away fans contributing to every gate could have got us through the summer, so that we could release those big earners that are out of contract in the summer. Instead they didn't, and now we're in administration. That is my point.

Completely agree with those sentiments, and a chairman along the same lines as Niall Quinn would be great, but all I can see is us getting another businessman in, which worries me greatly.
