I didn't realise it was the clubs decision to just 'put it' into administration. I thought it was a combination of influences. And I doubt it was ego-driven, I assume it was financially driven (Eg Lowe didn't want to lose out on his investment). I take it you won't be renewing your season ticket then?

Whatever you may misguidedly think, I'm not Pro Lowe, and to be honest I don't have the time or inclination to keep on arguing this point with someone that is so out of touch, his posts are derided, humoured and then laughed at. It's like having Scooby back (except you are far less entertaining).
-
Even if I was trying to undermine people (although I don't really know how that can be done through a protest - perhaps you can explain), I could never do as much damage to Lowe haters as you do with your utterly ignorant, hyperbolic and frankly laughable posts.
-
My messiah??!! What are you on about? I've been to 2 more protests than you have this year...

You're right, it does sound like Alpine!

"Southampton dodge administration (for now)..."

What would happen if SLH sold Southampton FC, the stadium etc to a 'newly established' business for a nominal fee, for example, Southampton Duck Holding or something like that, that all the shareholders create (with the same holdings as before). Would Lowe be done for allowing a company go into liquidation with no assets? -
Got told that in Latin when I eluded to a similar stunt. Didn't work out well then either.

BTW mods, I got infraction points for posting a completely tongue in cheek rumour the other week, to outline how stupid posts like this are. IS everyone else who's made one up going to get infraction points or a warning as well?

As has been said about a million times on this forum, that is not why he left us. -

Yeah, but that smoke has been around since last summer, as we all well know -
Should people not be upset about how he was acting in front of his kids in the first place? I think there are a couple of issues here. I'm not saying that the Police didn't over-react, however, if he overstepped the mark by not doing as they say, in a public place, then something is going to happen. What I'm saying is his kid singing songs about the police, and effing and blinding at 8 years old shows to me that they seem a rather unsavoury lot and so so any defence I hear is tainted.

Yep, the Mirror have info, they're at the cutting edge of journalism like that. -
My point was that it was said it wasn't a crime.

For once I'm going to agree with Stanley's sentiments, not necesarily with the way it has been put across. Personally, I look at the state of todays society (the one where I was hit in the face with a spade for walking down a road) and I see and hear things like this and I just think, "that is where these people come from".
-
Was he using bad language by any chance. Because if he was I think you'll find it is a crime.

As far as I can see, up until relegation, although controversial, Lowe had done a decent job. There would be no way in hell we'd still have been in the Prem until we were if we were still at the Dell. So up until then it was decent. Since then it has been sh!t, whether under Lowe, Wilde, The Execs, Crouch and Lowe again. Burley screwed us, the execs screwed us, Pearson nearly took us down, and now Lowe has nearly taken us down again and possibly will do. If we stay up this season though, with the financial problems we have, and the loss of many top earners, then that will be a succesful season and all I was hoping for before the season started. If that happens, then some kudos must go to Lowe. Hopefully then we can pressure him out of the club, along with Wilde and Crouch and we can start a fresh.

For some reason I am. to be as prolific as he was, I can't believe that he'd do that to entertain himself. I just can't!

Thank god someone could be bothered to articulate what I'm feeling. Bravo sir, top post.

What I don't understand is that if he isn't one of them, and if he isn't a wind up merchant, then who the hell is he? There is no-one who is quite that fanatical about ssomething that is inherently wrong. Apart from Scooby. Whatever happened to Scooby?

The negativity of the club has been bringing me down, but I take it as it comes, sh!t happens. Not happy at Lowe STILL being here, and that also gets me down. However, the thing that hits me hardest, and the reason I for one have been quiet, is this board is just so depressing. I think I come on here more now as a kind of morbid curiosity when I feel I'm getting too happy, as I have no depressants at home...

Hear hear, could not agree more WS! Fed up to the back teeth.
