I'm not sure if you are referring to me, but have I really been like this for 5 years. It has only been since the end of July that I have become worried and expressed that, so I think 5 years is a little excessive.

I think the thought of going to 4-3-3 this season was good, but I really don't think it suits us, andd we do need to play to our strengths. I assume with the signing of Ramirez though we are planning to continue experimenting.

I think I may be wrong. It turns out the reactions to Alpine are completely within reason to the fact that he posts negatively on a FOOTBALL forum, and that the personal insults are completely fair and in complete proportion to the posts he writes on this forum.

So then, still no signings and a startling lack of quality shown in a loss at home to the worst team in the division, who had just lost their best player. I assume all the people who have criticised me and this thread still expect 3 or 4 players in by the end of this week? No more than we deserved yesterday due to our insipid preperation to this season.

I didn't expect to lose today, especially as Wigan had sold their best player. If we had bothered to buy Premiership quality players prior to the start of the season we would more than likely have 3 points out if the first 4 games.
