  1. I have read that, and I agree, however the argument and the list (which I came up with in about 2 minutes off the top of my head) were if they'd improve our team, and most of them would have.
  2. Ah, I just don't know who's criticising who anymore!!!
  3. Yes, but can you see my point with (based on last weekend), players like Kightly.
  4. You are joking aren't you? You're the one who put fair suggestion by quite a few of them. Either way, can you see why I get frustrated at you constantly exaggerating? And yes, Snodgrass is below them, but that wasn't what we were talking about.
  5. And after seeing him Sunday, against world class players, I would be inclined to agree.
  6. And Biglia. And yes I am.
  7. Here is my list with your responses (mind that I don't really trust that as a lot of the responses here are due to your football ignorance). Where are the 90% of crap? Are you just trying to prove my exaggeration point? Kyle Naughton - On par with Clyne Michu - Agree perhaps - need to see if he fits English footy Patrick Van Aanholt - Is he any good? Struggled at Leicester Maiga - Never seen him play Kightley - As said - very unproven in prem Geoff Cameron - Who knows - pretty sure you won't of seen him play much at all Guthrie - No better than Morgan, Cork, Davis Diame - As above - was on Wigans bench a lot N'Zonzi - Decent player Cuellar - Badly lost mobility hence Villa released him Vlaar - Good suggestion Yobo - Gone to Fenerbache on 50k plus a week Weiss - Never settled anywhere, couldnt get in Rangers team Kuszsack - Did you go to Watford? Forster - Fair suggestion Snodgrass - Fair suggestion - we are still to sign a player in that position so that will be a good comparison MacGregor - Fair suggestion Whittaker - Worse than Clyne Gordon - Injury prone Rosenberg - personally don't rate him Ramis - Fair suggestion, interesting to see how he does
  8. Fantastic, I can stop writing Euros now!! €€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€€
  9. And I said as prospects 3 of them are great signings, I'm just not sure if they have the Premiership qualities right now (although Clyne looked excellent on Sunday). Considering he's heard it all before Saint Charlie seems to be getting his facts wrong.
  10. And here is a great example of that exaggeration to get a response thing I was talking about earlier.
  11. That's because you're one of the ones who seems to follow me around. And on your points: 1. There is a quote on page 4 that indicates that Adkins said we'd have players in by Man City from the BBC. We have not ignored him at all. 2. I agree, but people continue to argue with those opinions, and that's how debates happen. If people didn't respond then I'm not going to respond 3 posts later with exactly the same thing. What you are proposing is that everyone has one post to write their opinion, and then no-one is able to respond to that.
  12. Big wages and ego, not sure I'd be too keen actually. Good player when he can be bothered though.
  13. Be a good signing, and not too expensive I wouldn't have thought. Probably Saints releasing a story to put pressure on Bologna though.
  14. I think the frustration is that we are being derided for having a different opinion to the majority (although probably not a majority anymore) which to be honest is bordering on bullying. I used to think the same of Hypo etc, but now I can see it from their side I can see where they are coming from when they say they get bullied/abused just for having a differing opinion. The other issue is people not reading the posts properly, and interpreting a valid argument as 'bed-wetting' as the forum bullies like to call it, as well as exageratting their arguments to ridiculous levels that frankly makes no sense in proper debates. If this didn't happen, and people could debate like adults then there wouldn't be so many 'dullard' responses. But hey, people on this forum like to play the fool to elongate arguments. Perhaps you could single out them as well? Due to this people seem to like picking arguments with us (I have 2 or 3 people constantly following me around trying to trip me up). I was just adding my comments to a debate that had already started, and even then I only started off by saying that we have been linked heavily with every player we have bought so far this Summer, so if we don't hear anything it may suggest that we're not actively looking. Of course, you'd know that as you've read the whole thread.
  15. He might have meant yesterday tbf.
  16. If I am gathering this right, which I may not be as all the stuff above is a bit confusing, but if we paid 10 million Euros to loan him for a season and then 5 million Euros to buy him outright, then we have to pay what his CURRENT contract stipulates. We can't pay him anymore because that would mean he has a contract with both teams, which is not legal.
  17. Loan makes no sense though, as Ramirez won't be getting the wages he wanted from us.
  18. By Inter you mean AC yes?
  19. Why suggest Dann, I said good quality? I would say Douglas is Premiership class yes, bit most defenders from the continent won't have played in the Prem so it's difficult to say difinitively that they are Prem class. I'm not panicky or stressy at all, but we have been looking for CB's all Summer and we are no closer to signing any. I think the phrase "weeing your pants" is a bit extreme when all that is happening is that we are questioning our transfer strategy. Adam would be on the cusp. He's average, but his delivery from set pieces is very good. Either way we don't need him. Over the last few weeks I have named nearly 15 players who have been available this Summer, have been attainable and would add the requisite quality to our squad so I am not going to do it again, but if you want to have a look then feel free.
  20. And some are natural c u nts eh Ginge, as you'd well know.
  21. Why galacticos? Why not good quality Premiership footballers. And 3 of our 4 defenders and our keeper played like Championship players.
  22. It's been mentioned a lot, Ince is the better player.
  23. Why are you convinced that we do? Every player we have bought this year we have been heavily linked with by the press. This has diminished. As a lot of people say we should wait until the end of the window, but when we don't sign anyone else there will be another excuse ready from those who are happy to have a team of Championship players.
  24. What is the obsession with using that word, it's really quite offensive.
