  1. There's a word for that you know.
  2. Says a man who previously admitted that he chose an avatar featuring a known alt-right symbol because it winds up lefties.
  3. And you two accuse me of bias and whataboutery! It's a very simple question - do you think Boris Johnson is fit to be PM? Yes or No?
  4. That's not really answering the question though. Do you think he is fit to be PM or not?
  5. Do you think he is actually fit to be PM then?
  6. Just look at his body language in this clip... https://twitter.com/BestForBritain/status/1200127085534236675 Deflect, evade, change the subject. Regardless of the suitability of any other party leaders, this guy is simply unfit for any kind of public office, let alone the position of PM. The fact that our country has allowed a situation to arise where he can maneuvre himself into Number 10 should shame us all.
  7. The whole thing was just a publicity stunt by Gove. Boris knew there was no way he would come out of that debate looking anything other than the cretin that he is. So instead he sent his lackey with a camera crew and hidden microphone, in the full knowledge that he would not be able to take part as he wasn't invited, so that he can then play the victim and twist the narrative that C4 are being biased. The headline this morning should be that there was a historic debate between the leaders of the main parties on the most pressing issue facing the planet today, but that the sitting PM declined to take part. The actual headlines - everywhere - are that the Tories have lodged a complaint to Ofcom that C4 are in breach of impartiality rules. Gove was just playing the part of Johnson's dead cat - nothing but a distraction from the fact that the Prime Minister cannot be trusted by his handlers to engage in any kind of debate where he doesn't have the option of just repeating his "get Brexit done" soundbite ad nauseam. And it worked.
  8. And despite having plenty of notice, he chickened out of tonight's leaders' debate on climate change, sending his dad and Michael Gove in his place, who then had the nerve to cry foul when C4 wouldn't let him take part because it was a LEADERS' debate. Deary me. Imagine being such a pathetic sack of sh*t that you duck out of joining a debate with the other party leaders on the most important issue facing the planet today, and sending your dad instead. And now it looks like he won't be doing the Andrew Neil interview either. Is he going to send his dad to do that as well?
  9. Cleared of all charges https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-50592077
  10. Great idea. Maybe we could expand on it to include three key reasons you intend to vote for them as well? Despite my reservations, I will be voting Labour (to nobody's surprise on here, I should imagine). The reasons being that my local MP is actually really good and does a lot for our community, I agree with their position on Brexit, and because they are the best (and only, where I live) hope of unseating this f*cking despicable Tory government that has unleashed so much suffering on so many parts of UK society. The three biggest negatives for me are: 1. A weak and divisive leader who cannot and will never have the full support of his entire party 2. Too many MPs whose views and motivations are incompatible with those of the current party, who will seek to undermine the leadership at every opportunity 3. Question marks over the feasibility of their spending plans
  11. GM: "Here is a (doctored) graph of proxy data which proves man made climate change is nonsense". Also GM: "You can't use proxy data to prove man made climate change is real". I know I really should have learned my lesson by now not to bother engaging with him.
  12. Now Clive James has departed us too... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-50578512
  13. He's undoubtedly weighing up which option of either doing it or not doing it is likely to do him the least damage.
  14. And now the BBC admit they haven't yet fixed a date for Johnson to do his Neil interview... https://twitter.com/BBCNewsPR/status/1199697628545650688?s=20 What's the betting he 'can't fit it into his schedule'?
  15. So not actually evidence of voter fraud then, just a member of the Plymouth CLP being incredibly stupid and bringing a whole pile of sh!t upon himself. Of course, it is possible that there is fraud going on, and it would make sense to hold an investigation in this case. But taking Guido Fawkes' word for it!? Sheesh
  16. What exactly is it you think that Guido article proves?
  17. It worked OK for a while, but a string of signings who failed to make the necessary grade to make them saleable is what really got us into this mess. I take your point, but this guy has good pedigree and I think it's a positive appointment. The main architect of that buy and sell policy (Reed) is no longer here, and since VVD left we haven't had anyone else even remotely good enough to sell on for a large profit, so it's hard to say for sure if the current board still want to pursue that policy. With better people in place to oversee player development (like Crocker), maybe we might get back to that point again, and only then will we be able to see if Gao wants to carry on where Kat and Reed left off by flogging them off at the first sign of interest from Liverpool. But if we suddenly have a number of players who are wanted by bigger clubs, that can only be an improvement on our current situation where nobody wants them because they're not good enough.
  18. Fook me, really? Do you honestly not see the implications of US pharma companies securing the contracts to supply medicine and then raising the costs by 1000%?
  19. Well nobody is going to buy it in its entirety are they. But can you genuinely not see how lucrative it would be for US healthcare firms to cash in on it piece by piece? Have a read of this thread... https://twitter.com/ByDonkeys/status/1196685828627533824 Johnson is a pathological liar. When he says the NHS is not up for grabs in any US/UK trade deal, you can be 100% certain he is not telling the truth.
  20. No, it was much lower. It was released at an average rate of 0.24 Gt per year over 50,000 years. https://www.nature.com/articles/nature23646 Currently we're emitting around 10 Gt per year and, surprise surprise, the rate of warming over the last 100 or so years is about ten times greater than at any point in the records from which your graph was based.

  22. The decision to sell those players was not his. I don't see how you can use that as a stick to beat him with.

  24. Crocker was in charge of our Academy during its most successful spell in our history, and brought through players like Walcott, Bale, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Lallana and Shaw.
