What was it Ralph said recently? We need to be disgusting to play against?
-
We got quite lucky in that game. Our defence was all over the place and we got a letoff with a disallowed goal, a non-penalty that should have been given to them, and a pretty harsh red card. They worked hard all game (harder than we did) and were unlucky to lose it really.
-
And had that been us instead of Sheff Utd, then we would almost certainly have still found a way to lose to them. Too many times already this season teams have been there for the taking but we have failed to capitalise. Man Utd and Spurs played terribly against us but we only got one point from those games. Wolves on Saturday - take away the disallowed goals and the only thing they created was a penalty from a blatant dive, and we still didn't manage to beat them. As it stands, I'm not convinced at all that there are three worse teams than us in the league this season.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50114848 Don't worry everyone. Hypo has repeatedly told us there is no problem with racism in English football any more, so we can safely assume this is all just made up nonsense.

I think the point he was making is that we seemingly only manage to score these days when Ings pounces on a bad error at the back. If we have to actually create our own chances through good attacking team play, we are woefully inept at it.
-
We can when the only reason they equalised was because of a very harsh penalty call. I thought VAR was supposed to eliminate things like that. It was a blatant dive that conned the ref, so I don't see how they can claim it wasn't a clear and obvious error.

FT. 1-1. Well at least we stopped the rot of the straight defeats, but that game was there for the taking. We just don't have the quality to punish teams. We desperately need Djenepo back and quickly. He's the only player who has looked truly dangerous in attack so far this season.
-
Oooh look. Yet another "Nearly but not quite" free kick from JWP. Isn't it about time we let someone else have a go at taking them, seeing as he NEVER scores from them.
-
Spurs finally equalise.
-
WTF!? Valery off for Boufal? What's Ralph doing to the shape here then? JWP moving to RWB?
-
Boufal getting ready to come on.

Or two

Jesus H - why do we panic so much whenever we take a lead?
-
That's bolocks. He was already airborne and going over before he made contact with Romeu.

Super Danny Ings!!!

Overall, it's not been as bad a performance as I predicted beforehand. We seem to be keeping Wolves in their own half pretty well, but still looking a little shaky when they do threaten. Gunn will be the man most relieved about the two disallowed goals, as he could and should have done better on both occasions. First time racing off his line with no chance of getting the ball, and then parrying a weak shot into the danger area. Up front, we seem to be having good possession around their area but, again, not making the right decisions with it. What does Bertrand have to do to convince Redmond to actually use him on the overlap FFS? JWP, as usual, is anonymous and offering nothing going forward, and I would replace him with Boufal at HT - though we just know Ralph won't do that. I hate to tempt fate but I reckon the game is there for the taking. Wolves are not firing on all cylinders today so if we don't get anything from this we will only have ourselves to blame.
-
Yeah, once again he's been let off. The ball was flicked so slowly towards the goal - there's no excuse for parrying it back into the danger area at that speed.
-
Thank f*ckety f*ck for VAR.
-
Well I was just about to post that I think we're looking alright here and seem to be keeping Wolves largely quiet. Then that happens. FFS Saints.
-
Clearly not. RB can rightly be frustrated with the number of times he busts a gut to make the overlap only to be ignored.
-
You keep repeating this, but literally nobody is actually saying it.
-
Neves down injured now.
-
Twice in recent weeks we have conceded thanks to Gunn racing off his line, and still he does it. WTAF is going on with him and our coaching?
-
Fook me. What was Gunn doing there!? So, so lucky for him it was handball.

Villa 0-1 Brighton.
