Not sure this is going to work on a democracy. For a start, you'd need everyone to agree to put the money to one player, and plenty wont want to put their money into the pot for a certain player. Right, had a good look whilst getting him dressed (that was fun...not!) There's no lump whatsoever, i did give it a good press in the area he said it hurt and he winced a little like it was tender but didnt cry. The real pain comes from moving his leg in any direction and stretching the groin about, and he can put absolutely no weight on that leg at all.

you should find that throwing it hard onto a concrete surface will open it up. Once its open, scratch the **** out of the copper looking discs with a screwdriver

Thanks both of you. Appt booked with gp for 11am. Poor sod starts summer holidays in 2 days, lets hope he doesnt have to spend most of it rested up.

I know a lot of you are parents, so hoping you've had this issue before. My 4 year old is pointing at his groin and almost screaming in pain. When at rest, he's fine, and I notice the pain only hurts when he lifts his leg so I'm fairly certain its a groin strain and he did it on his scooter. But what can we do for him, it seems pointless telling him 'dont use it' and i think giving him the Nintendo DS for the day and telling him to put his leg on a pillow is going to last about 30 minutes. Then of course, there's the nagging doubt it could be something else, even tho EVERY symptom points to a groin strain. What can we do?
