PS - 'Hummmpphhhhhhhhh' *chokes the chicken* -

Phil, do you still bump into Budgie? I bet he'd be a right laugh to have around at a game like this.. -

PS - Great idea to drop a sponsor next season Nicola.. NC - Thank you Peter, all the good ethical clubs do it. It's also because of the 125 years. PS - Don't think we'll last another 125 days....still, thats another 4 paydays for me. NC - I think in that timescale Peter, you'll probably get 2. -

NC - 'Peter, the Liebherr family do not believe in debt' PS - 'What not even a penny? I can pay you two farthings now, with the rest on instalments - I'll pay you the rest when I get paid' NC - 'Peter, Peter.....we both know that's not going to happen' -
Having said that though CL, it does seem from the report posted by Skates who went to the PL, that they have been on the case concerning the ownership links between all of parties, convicted fraudster et al... It could be that the Premier League are another institution that stick the knife in to finish them off - in conjunction with the FA as per the earlier posts. If the FA went in and claimed financial irregularities, then we could have another Swindon on the go, EVEN if they find a blind, deaf, mute, dumb billionaire investor. In less than a week. Who wants to deal with Storrie.

Before kick off, parties from both clubs will likely convene in the boardroom for some nibbles, maybe a meal, and a few drinks. Oh to be a fly on the wall. So then guys and gals, how do we think the conversation will go between our very own Nicola Cortese and in the other corner... Del Bo...sorry Peter Storrie??? I reckon something like this. PS - 'Cor Blimey Nic, it's a fine gaff you've got here - got rid of the Train Picture I see' NC - 'Yes Peter, we run a tight ship, you know, no complications' PS - 'I'd love the standard of Fratton Park to be like this one day' NC - 'Well Peter you'd better start by making it look better than Staplewood first...' --- NC - 'Peter, can I please introduce you to our owner, Mr Markus Liebherr' PS - 'Ello Markus, got a new motor?? Here's our owner..Suli..Al...Balram....where's he gone?' --- Carry on chaps..;-)

Humble businessman you may be David, but you've proved in one statement that you have more business nous than Storrie. Who, had he been switched on, should have walked after Harry went.

God I remember that. Watched the school opposite getting trashed from the top of the Family Centre.

TBH watching the reports on Meridian/South Today last night I was slightly confused. None of them seemed to mention the requirement for any creditor (NOT THE CLUB) to go to the courts for approval to put them into admin. This they should not have overlooked. We already know that some Pompey fans think they can just 'put themselves into Admin'. It seemed last night, that even Husband and Belvers thought the same as 'Admin was an option' - it isn't. Not to mention the Pompey Soundbiters. Nice of Mr Beech to include his comments on SSN... 'Oh it's not a massive game..they're only Division 3 after all'. Indeed. No more motivation for our players than to be written off before the game. We have nothing to lose, and EVERYTHING to gain. Thanks Bob.

What will be the odds that by April 14th a whole can of worms have been opened...??!! 'Yes, we originally charged you with this, but guess what the forensic accountants at PFC recovered....' If I were a Pompey fan....get used to seeing your 'club' dragged through the mud - it ain't over yet. My money's on the whole Finance Director resigning/not resigning/now back on board to be pivotal. Could be wrong, but I am a cynical, suspicious thinking git. ;-)
-
But they have to go to the courts to ask for it, don't they? Which, should protect the procedure from mis-use by shady characters....
-
I love the way in which we have dissected the situation - we should be proud to be honest.
-
Ok lads and lasses, today's Caption Competition is this..... Fill yer boots.
-
Mark Fry on Solent. Surprised they got given 7 days to repay - evidence given today is normally deemed sufficient for Winding Up. They cannot go into voluntary admin - a petition from a creditor would be needed. Short timescale, in his view, for any takeover to happen. Asked whether he would get involved if asked, he said yes.
-
Well. The HMRC consider you to be trading insolvently. The judge considers you to be trading insolvently. They said so IN COURT. Guess it's just Storrie who suggests that you aren't then. Do you still want to believe him? 'This time next week Pompey we'll be millionaires' 'Peter Storrie and his sidekick prepare for negotiations with investors, including Freddie the Frog'
-
Indeed. SQUEAKY BUM TIME FOR STORRIE. About fookin time too. Can I state, previous to posts I've made over the last god-knows-how-long - that I now have grudging admiration for Rupert Lowe. Thank you for leaving us, but in a state where we have no worries of that nature.
-
Unless of course, you are a local business or individual who pays its taxes on time. They have already had more time..but they chose to carry on regardless. Justice = Pompey are no more and Storrie facing charges for overseeing the whole thing.
-
No, not at all my friend! Solent confirmed earlier that the Statement of Affairs needs to be produced to the courts NEXT MONDAY - 15th.
-
Will be interesting if the FA make a statement on the issue given that Pompey are now openly breaking one of their rules (and importantly have been PROVEN to have done for a while). I get the feeling they won't - too much to lose with the game coming up this weekend.
-
What would be really funny now would be for Pompey to have a 'whistleblower'....
-
I wonder what the odds are on Storrie walking before next week?
-
see my earlier post. Who paid off those other last minute creditors? Don't know, but the FA have a lot to answer for if they got involved.
-
So that would be Agent Orange...the 'forensic Accountant'...?? Interesting.
