We should be spending every last penny of the vestergard money on getting a quality replacement that offers some Ariel threat... Not these cheap deals in the hope that they will come good over time.... We don't have time... I seriously think we are in danger of relegation this season...we have such a poor team on.paper
  2. Shame the master will go with a totally different lineup probably pick it out of a hat on the day
  3. It's going to be really tough for perraud who's trying to find his feet & get used to the pace of this league playing next to Salisu who's still trying to find his! not that we have much choice!
  4. Wouldn't it be crazy if the team to end United's amazing undefeated away record was the team with the poorest home record ......... We can dream!
  5. 🤣 Whoops burnley even!
  6. I really think its going to be tough, even out of the newly promoted sides its clear Watford are potentially stronger than us. Even if you take the next ten fixtures my predictions being optimistic is 7 points from a possible 30 Man United H 0 points Newcastle A 1 Point West Ham H 0 Points Man City A 0 Points Wolves H 1 Point Chelsea A 0 points Leeds H 1 Point Burley H 3 Points! Watford A 0 points Villa H - 1 point
  7. I know we are only one game in but I really do fear for us this season, think maybe our luck of just about scraping by will run out. We have the same lack of mental strength as last season (why have we not erased this or at least improved), haven't sorted out our defence or keeper problems, sold our best and most consistent goal scorer, sold an experienced lump of a defender without an immediate replacement lined up, and our new signings will take some time to adapt to this league and how Ralph insists on playing. We don't have that one star player on our team sheet anymore that can make things happen! (Obviously AA has the potential to be but to early to say)
  8. Yes this can be the only explanation for sticking with somone with such an appalling record over the last half or more of last season and what looks like to continue into this season with the early fixture list we have. Yes he did get us to the top for like a day and deserves credit for that but it is now clear that was just a case of other teams taking a while to work out what counter acts such a high press and an element of the top teams having their own bad run. The manner in which we totally crumbled from 1st place to losing every game is basically how we now crumble in the second half of pretty much every game! Ralph has lost his mojo or maybe he never had it to begin with? Like others I think he's a sound guy but is that enough, he seems totally one dimensional in terms of tactics
  9. If the team crumbles the way it did at everton after just their equaliser then it's going to be a rough ride if we completely throw in the towel it could get embarrassing again, head says we will concede at least 4 heart says somehow we manage a miraculous 2-2 draw
  10. Roy Keane anyone? 😜
  11. 🤣😜👍
  12. Puel is looking a master technician right now! How id love a "boring" one nil win from one long ball over the top. At least puel knew how to coach a defence and make us hard to beat.
  13. No haven't seen that but agree we seem to have an inherent niceness in our coaching and management approach which can be a good thing in certain situations i.e giving confidence to our younger player. I'm not saying the hairdryer treatment is the answer but clearly some of the players need a reality check and a wake-up call including the manager, it's like they are all sleepwalking into a new season and are even happy with that!
  14. This herein lies the problem those around RH and GAO seem to have the same mentality as you, keep somone on cos they are a "nice" person who cares if they are incompetent hey
  15. Yes I'm not trying to say he isn't without fault but he kind of hinted that he isn't happy with RH game management how will that go down with Ralph?
  16. Looks like Stephens has spoken out indirectly about the management of the game. https://www.hampshirelive.news/sport/football/football-news/jack-stephens-southampton-defeat-everton-5788469
  17. It's almost worth spending some of the remaining money we got for ings and vestergard on paying him out of his contract... How much would that cost us?
  18. Starting Walcott was a clear sign he has lost the plot.... He's been piss poor for ages and nowhere near a premier League player yet he started. Ralph must have had input in the signing of him too letting sentimentality take over, can see him sticking with him too as in Ralph's mafia club once your in your in!
  19. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😱
  20. Oh so as much sense in his interview as he provided on the pitch
  21. Haven't even watched Ralphs post match interview, assume he blamed it all on individual mistakes in the 2nd half and not anything to do with bad management of the game?
  22. It's not the losing so much to Everton that hurts, we all knew it was going to be very tough to get any kind of result and I would think most wouldn't have predicted a win but it's the manner we concede leads that's beyond horrific, if you can see Everton have come out the traps for the second half a totally different team and score after like two minutes then you need to react to that straight away not wait till 10-15 minutes from the end when you are 3-1 down! Not sure what goes through RH's head it's almost like he doesn't want to admit that his starting 11 aren't the perfect team, why should he have to change them! What an inconvenience to him! RH's team talks at half time obviously don't inspire the team whatsoever it's like he says "we've got the lead guys so you can go easy now step it down a gear" seriously wtf??? It's not like we've had a good patch even, the whole second half of last season we were bloody awful, record defeats twice, record consequtive losses, nearly the worst goals conceded. Ralph nice guy and all that shit but seriously inflexible, stubborn, can't coach a defence, can't mix things up tactically... It's like he's the golden goose with those that run the club and has been given total free reign. I was willing to keep faith but he just repeats the same dam things. It is time for a change now the club needs fresh inspiration, someone who can at least mix things up and try something different tactically, can't see him walking so god knows how long the club will wait... Till it's too late no doubt.
  23. You might believe it but the board & GAO don't judging by last season he'd have to lose like 20 games in a row for them to consider anything
  24. Our record of points lost from winning positions must be dam near the worst in the league over the last couple of seasons!
  25. Now now Don't hold back! 😜
