I think we need to ask serious questions about our recruitment/scouting department I would think we are near the top if not the top for locating flop players and paying over the odds for them!

It seems the club as a whole we're not prepared for the Premier league. It was blindingly obvious to all but them that we would need a step up in quality of both the players and the manager, you simply can't go into this league with an inexperienced manager like Martin playing a rigid style with so many sub standard players that said we really should be doing better than Martin is achieving and finishing 17th should have been achievable

Exactly this, reasonable performances are all good and well but in our case they don't put enough points on the board and Russells claims that we are just unlucky every game only goes so far! No other team has been as unlucky as us

Shame that in most cases they get little or no support from the other players who are often still halfway up the pitch

Shocked that he isn't sacked I don't think there's another premier league club that would accept these results combined with the egotistical comments on top of being in complete denial about the whole mess! Sports republic are bad news just terrible decision making

This 1000% percent what will he have done to earn another crack at the championship.... Fuck all is the answer... This club rewards failure. Surely it is ridiculous to think that there will be any good will towards Martin for another season in the championship??? Will fans just lamely accept someone with the lowest points total in premier league history managing our once half decent club? The really worrying thing is that in Russell Martin and sports republics head we are absolutely fantastic as we nearly beat the league leaders instead of our suicidal tactics and mistakes cost us three goals and we have chucked yet more points away! Yesterday would have just cemented their views that we are "heading in the right direction" and that Martin is our man 😞

It already is a lost cause unfortunately... They needed to do it in the international break at the absolute latest and should have done it before that!

Where did I say every goal conceded today was down to passing out from the back just making the point that it is generally that that causes us the most misery in games and usually results in a goal conceded as it has today

Every footballer makes mistakes but the point is we are 100% more likely to make them with our passing out in dangerous areas under pressure style

Sports republic have made sooo many decisions wrong at the club....I don't get how they can possibly justify keeping Martin on.... Guess they will trot out the compensation line and that Martin is part of the bigger picture! More to the point they don't communicate to the fans their intentions either way!

Sacked when your in 16th above the relegation zone but we can't make a decision to sack a manager that's bottom of the table and only one lucky win to his name!
