Russell Martin the name inspires greatness!
-
Okay maybe small club mentality yes we have spent money but who would have spent that money on Nathan Jones or thought they he was an ambitious appointment? And the player recruitment has been horrific Lavia aside
-
As this all but confirmed I think the club has made another big mistake hopefully it turns out I am completely wrong and they have played a blinder! Can't shake the feeling that we are a small club with an even smaller ambition
-
I know we were unlikely to ever attract a big name but surely we could have got someone that had managed at premier league level in the past either here or the equivalent abroad
-
Can we rename the team to the sinners? Much more fitting
-
Just like the last two managerial appointments we have entered underwhelming territory once again, Hope I'm proved wrong but Sports Republic really do seem the most clueless owners we've had in some decades, who is making the big decisions at the club and not learning from past mistakes?
-
Well I for one hope his football is more interesting than his name π Nathan Jones, Russell Martin guess the next manager will be John Smith! Sports republic love a good name π
-
He hasn't achieved anything other than mid table but that would be progress for us I guess!

What's the verdict on this guy, suitable? https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/forget-mowbray-and-martin-southampton-must-make-37-year-old-top-target-opinion/

No one left to boo how apt π

A 54 year old Le Tiss would have offered more passion and goal threat on the pitch than our lot and that's saying something!
-
At least Le Tis is prepared to be brutally honest, can't see that selles said this to them in the dressing room after the game, he was probably patting all his mates on the back! βThey've gone down with a whimper. They haven't gone down with a fight. That was the saddest part about it. Iβve never witnessed such a gutless, lazy and passionless performance from a relegation-threatened team in all my life.β
-
I would like to think this relegation was needed to come back stronger and instill a different mentality in the players hopefully a winning one and not a losing mentality however I'm not sure SR are the right people to get us back to the premier league they have made such bad mistakes they don't seem to have any plans or if they do they are not communicated to the fans in a transparent way
-
Not even any fake tears from the players, at least give us some fake tears bitches! π
-
Noone even seems remotely pissed off, the players look like they couldn't care less
-
Our boos will be as lame as our season!
-
At least the players will get a good round of applause on their goodbye lap
-
I think salisbury city would beat us today
-
That he dodged a bullet?
-
How Many on here would bet against SR sticking with the cheap option?
-
Was he death metal before that?
-
I think they are even worse than last relegation
-
May as well give the tea lady a chance, it won't be any worse
-
We may as well lose In Style now.... We want nine we want nine
