As someone who is catching up on this thread - what is the established connection between https://www.ledong6666.com/ and the new sponsors? All the press releases refer to their site being http://www.ldsports.uk/. That is a holding page, which fits with the story about them preparing for their launch in the summer. Apologies if I've missed it somewhere, but what's the source of the link between that and whatever dodginess was going on at https://www.ledong6666.com/?

If there was a web site at https://www.ledong6666.com/ then it isn't there now. It appears to have been taken down.

Manolo Gabbiadini: Joins Sampdoria - Official
Midfield_General replied to Portugalsaint's topic in The Saints
Thanks for everything Gabbi. Best of luck back home. -
I've been supporting Saints since 1984 and I've never seen a manager so terrifyingly out of his depth. He's a tactically inept, frog-eyed buffoon. Unless he goes tonight, we are down.

On that list is a 28 year old, Norwegian international centre back, currently without contract and available immediately. Vegard Forren, this is your moment. Time to come home.

Interesting opinion piece in the Guardian today about Mane and the others who have left: http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/jan/07/saido-mane-southampton-manchester-united-chelsea-transfer-window

Man Utd ready to pay £62.5m apparently. I think I'd take that, at a push. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-news-transfer-rumours-7110135

I haven't worked for the club, but as part of my job I went in to St Mary's to give a presentation to a bunch of people. Can't give too much detail as we all had to sign an NDA, but it was during the Cortese years. Met a group of people including Jordan Sibley, who was a thoroughly sound chap, as they all were. Nothing happened with the project as we were told a few weeks later that a number of the people involved in it from their end had left the club, and it got shelved. Rapid turnover of staff was pretty much par for the course during those days, by all accounts. In a way I'm quite glad nothing came of it - I'd imagine they weren't an easy client in those days, and if we'd worked for them and it had been a bad experience, as a life long fan that would not have been pleasant. But as it was, I got to see a bit of 'backstage' St Mary's, meet some of the people from the club, and I met Radhi Jaidi in the car park afterwards. None of my colleagues gave a monkey's but it made my day!

This is terrifically entertaining if you've got a few hours free. Go through the last 20 or so pages to re-live the transfer window through the eyes of the Spurs fans in real time. "It's OK, Berahino will sign... er, it's been another hour, so I hope he does... OK, it's getting late now, maybe we should go for Austin... OK, there's an hour left, is Berbatov still available?... 10 minutes to go, I'd take Jelavic right now just for depth... OK the window has shut. What just happened?" Their subsequent meltdown puts ours to shame. http://www.thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/summer-2015-transfer-window-discussion-thread.13285/ Enjoy the extra long, extra draining, Europa League season with no midfield and one striker lads

Guardian reporting that we've opened talks... http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/jul/02/southampton-toby-alderweireld-atletico-madrid-spurs I guess Atletico listen to all offers, then if both clubs meet the valuation it will be up to Toby.

Absolutely superb. Koeman is a tactical genius.

I'm going for 6-3 Saints. Long to get all six. Lest we forget:

JANUARY - Who will go, Who will stay and Who will arrive?
Midfield_General replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
The one area we're obviously at risk is goalkeeper if anything happens to Fraser. Paul Robinson sounds like he might be available. 35, loads of experience, still got a few years in him and would be happy to sit on the bench. Would depend on wages of course but I'd rather have him as back-up than Gazza and not heard much about Cropper to know if he's ready if called upon. http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/forgotten-keeper-robinson-ready-quit-blackburn-january-4049092#.VGtVSL7A7ow -
When I was eleven I was obsessed with playing as a team customised to look like Saints on Kick Off 2 on my Amiga. I always used to do a running commentary to myself under my breath during games and would deliberately do it with the same enunciation as Grant Coleman for extra realism.

Relax. This is Spurs. Even if they get him, they'll find some innovative new way of completely ballsing it up so he becomes useless.

Sportsnation HD is by far the best one I've tried. Only a few quid for the elite pass. Every game in very high quality, no pop-ups and no need to faff about with VPNs or extensions or any of that nonsense. If you're not very techy it's a great shout. And Willow the administrator is a nice fella who is always on hand to sort out any issues or questions.
