  4. I just thought of a good name if this was turned into a book. "is this a windup?" or "it's was all just a big wind-up"
  5. Well of course He would deny being a naughty boy http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8519941.stm And this one seems to come straight from the Storrie book http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/p/portsmouth/8519800.stm
  6. I sit next to me dad but thats because we got ours together. The good thing is we have met and chat with all the people around us. I have no problem should my dad not decide to re-new that i'll go on my billy. Thankfully you have the best part of 22000+ other people to talk to during the game.
  7. Give Brum a Bye. (It's called taking the high ground)
  8. Yep Handbreke works wonders for me. Ponty if you stop downloading all that adult material then your mac will run better
  9. We will also have a proper full back on the right and also Fonte back in the centre on and a proper winger as well.
  10. How many are we away?
  11. Spell my name right man
  12. Again though Ho. If you are not able to trade then you are not entitled to any money in August because your not there. The Parachute payments will go the the football league clubs like they do now if a club go back up at the first time of asking. so i'll say this slowly. UNLESS YOU CAN COMPLETE YOUR FIXTURES AND THEN MAKE IT TO THE START OF THE NEXT SEASON THEN YOU ARE NOT OWED ANY MONEY. IF YOU MAKE TO THE END OF THE SEASON THEN YOU WILL GET TV MONEY'S OWED. IF NOT THEN YOUR NOT ENTITLED TO IT. It's like me asking work to pay me my whole salary in 1 go in the promise i'll still be there are the end of the year. Not going to happen. And quite rightly should not happen.
  13. If you were not able to fulfill your fixture list (Which you would not if you were wound up). Then no you would not be entitled to the money as you had not completed the fixtures for which these "TV Rights" were due for. (Basic accounting principles). The same goes for any parachute payments as well you would not be in business and therefore would not be entitled to them. If a club goes up on the first attempt then the next parachute payment is distributed through the football league so if you did not exist it is not your money to be given anyway.
  14. PL won't care then once their out of the PL. It's better to give them the money now rather than imagine the fallout of changing results because their wound up.
  15. if you have to ask the question then yes it is just you. HTH
  16. Wow someone is really really late for the party.
  17. Well for a start we don't have stupid debts to pay on a mortgage on the stadium. Then there are high earners off the bill and lots of fans at the games. Also NC has stated that any moneys coming into the club from ML are not in the form of loans but as investment into the club. So well done us
  18. Yes sort of. They will have to prove that the money coming in is enough to pay their debtors in a reasonable time frame and also cover the running costs for the same period. Say 2 years. However as we know they have running staff costs of about £3-5M every month I say good luck to proving their solvent. And unless there is a statement from a buyer that says within 30 days they will purchase the club and pay it's debts they cannot use this. Basically the 7 days given is a legal term for saying get me the figures as a formality but your fooked.
  19. Just a thought. How amazing will it be if Saturdays game is their last ever match and we beat them. I think that moment would stay in every saints fan until the end of time.
  20. Can someone not email the judge a list of their debtors listed from here a fair few pages ago. Be interesting to see what Smuffs statement is like compared to that one we knocked up.
  21. How the hell did they manage to get a nine day extension. The Jammie gits. Mind you they won't be about much after that so still at least we get to play them. Have they paid use for their ticket allocations yet. Also Can we not ask for a WUO if owed more than £750? That would be funny. And another note are they not in court again with another WUO in relation to the Basingstoke firm?
  22. So still going on then. Court cases are fun are they not.
  23. Thats fair (always an issue with text not everyone gets the point we try to make.) This is one thing that the premier league really want to avoid. Imagine Liverpool suddenly winning the PL because the others had their 3 or 6 points removed.
  24. No they won't all teams who had a result against them will have those points removed. anyone who lost against them will not get extra points because they did not loose any in the first place. (you don't get negative points for a loss)
  25. "A source inside the Premier League has just told The News: 'I don't see why the judge would liquidate an organisation which even if the team are heading for relegation, would still be due to get two years of parachute payments worth about £25m. Why would you liquidate a company with that kind of money due to come in? That money could be used to pay back creditors over time. I think winding up is highly unlikely on that basis alone" Well probably because their debt is allot more that £25m and rising daily
