Fair enough, if you could just humour me a final word in explanation. If you argue about subject A, you should stick with subject A. Hypo was out of order, however it irks me if someone brings in an irrelevant subject not linked with subject A. If I were arguing about whatever, I would never bring up my wife's family that killed in the tsunami, it would be out of place. Back in topic, I'd be happy if we finished mid table (of course). Devils advocate here but why bring up personal problems on a (Bit of a stupid) thread about a hypothetical football situation? If you want to discuss something speak with your friends or family or put it in the lounge. This is a bit of a dumb thread, along the lines of " if you won £50k on the lottery how would you feel? Would you be disappointed it wasn't the full million?", followed by some jokey comments - fair enough IMO. Then sad personal problems - why muddy the waters? I know this won't be a popular comment but I didnt see the need to bring it into this thread which was moving in the direction of being a conflict. What was the motivation? Funny you should mention that as I have seen some X files stuff going on as well. I very much doubt he is back as I am sure he would have contacted me from the after life and told me about it.
