There are very few parking restrictions in Wimbledon Park which is on the district line. Otherwise, park near Motspur Park Station, and take the bus to Wimbledon (5 mins), then district line. It is where I live, right on the A3 so shouldn't be any traffic on the way in or on the way out. I'll be in Japan, so don't even mind if you park in my space or clog up my road.
