The poor run continues for struggling Southampton as their slide down the table starts to gather pace. one win in 6 now, with a record of DDLDWL far worse than the form over the last six games Norwich were lamblasted for only this morning by our forum geniuses.
-
We could all make up hypothetical scenarios on where we might be if results had been different.
-
8 out of 8 scores correct so far this weekend for the clueless, out of touch idiot who couldn't tip a old lady out of a wheelchair. How dare he correctly predict we would lose at Newcastle.
-
and if we'd won every game we'd be top. I expect more from you young Andy.
-
Wrong. It is serious business. Lost our way after about 10 minutes and not looked a threat since then. Great goal by Cisse, people will whine and moan that he might have been offside but the ball travelled from one of the pitch to the other without a saints player getting a challenge in, poor. Still a fantastic strike. Lets hope their thursday night exertions catch up on them in the second half, they've been bigger and stronger than us and deserve to be ahead.

You can only beat what's In front of you.

And despite all this In your specially selected 9 games their slide down the table has seen them drop a huge one place. In my specially selected last 3 games where we are allowed to use yesterday's result they are in great form, 1 win 2 draws, 5 points, top half form that isn't it.
-
Why would we not include yesterday in their current form guide? Over their last 20 games they are in midtable form, over their last 6 they've only lost once, form which was hailed as a glorious upturn by some on here when it was us on a similar run. It's easy spin stats and to select a random amount of games to try to prove a point. They are 12th and midtable, have been midtable for the vast majority of the season and will highly likely finish midtable. That's not tortous logic, it's FACT.
-
Wasn't Nigel Adkins the new Alex Ferguson a few months ago? Why was he this but Houghton not? of course they have patches of good form and patches of bad form, thats why they are midtable, if they were permenantly in good form they'd be near the top, permenantly in bad form near the bottom. You dont win one, lose one, draw one in that order over 38 games when you're a midtable side. It's very easy to cherry pick a random amount of games as people have done to try to prove their point that they are sliding down the table or rocketing up it. The reality is that they are doing neither and like most midtable sides will probably flit between 8-14th for most of the season, possibly looking like flirting with relegation or Europe if they have an extended run of good or bad form but will eventaully finish somewhere in between.
-
Proves my point then, they started badly, rocketed up the table and have now consolodated themselves as a midtable side. Over the last 20 games which i'm now going to cherry pick to porve my point (its easy this isn't it) they have been in midtable form, which is why they are now in midtable. Round of applause for
-
they were also 17th at one point so rocketed up the table and have no consoldated themselves in midtable if we spread our random amount of selected games to 23 if we want to prove our points.
-
Does it? chosing my own random amount of games to cherry pick to prove my point, 18 games ago they were 16th, so usuing that form over that period they are climbing up the table and 6 games ago they were 12th, today they are 12th, i would suggest this random amount of games proves they have consoldiated their position and all is very much well. Along with having an excellent young manager who could be the new Alex Ferguson.
-
What does that have to do with league form and sliding down the table claims?
-
9 games ago they were 11th, today they are 12th. Is dropping one place 'sliding down the table' using your own hand picked amount of games in a pathetic attempt to prove your point? Thats bad, even by your usual 'Mr Wrong' standards. Why did you choose 9 games? Why not 6 or 4 or 2 or 18 or 15 or13?
-
I am completely apathetic to what Mark Lawrenson says, however after all the criticism he got for daring not to suggest we might win today felt it appropriate that the man who was labelled as being a clueless idiot unable to tip an old lady out of a wheelchair got every result prediction right. It's you that keeps on squinniny about it.
-
Cherry picking a random amount of games to prove your point like a lot of the other divs on here I see. Welcome back, I've missed you.

Acid drops. There is a little old sweet shop in Lyndhurst that does them the old way with sweets in plastic containers and tipped out into scales.

No it wasn't actually, I'll PM you my PayPal details to make the payment. It was if my arrogance is grating to you just image how grating the majority of posters deluded, blind, biased and nonsensical optimism, whining and squinying is to me.
-
It wasn't a 'stonewall prediction' I merely felt that Reading would win one game. I didn't add self promoting comments like 'you heard it here first' to endorse my view.
-
It wouldn't be much of an achievement to match Norwich, according to some on here they are in dire form and sliding down the table, one even said they are going down.
-
an early favourite for 'lack of self awareness post of the year'
-
That would be an outstanding performance by our league one squad.
-
Why stop at 15 games then? Why not measure our performance over the last 26 games and 2/3s of the season where over this period we are 15th and behind the terrible Norwich and West Ham.
