  1. Yes, that's what it is, thank you, you've got me spot on!!! I spent the whole relay on Saturday filled with envy at those confident, hilarious chaps running round the pitch in fancy dress wishing I was like them. I felt so jealous of their charisma I couldn't even bring myself to LOL at them like Apparantly everyone round me was. Instead going home early, back to my bedsit to curse the bad hand I'd be dealt in life and wish I was able to join in the fun. Or maybe myself and those that find attention seeking, dressing up and look at me type behaviour a little sad don't need to prove we've got personalities by public shows of how wacky we are? Let your amateur psychology chew over those scenarios.
  2. On the 'saints best ever signing' thread a few of us mentioned Jimmy Case, for this very reason. An experienced, season pro who was able to help the young players along and was a real leader on the pitch and in the dressing room as well as being ble to protect them on the pitch and learm from him. Exactly what we could do with now. Yet for some this seems to equate to blowing millions on Kieran Dyer.
  3. Yep I agree. People getting excited about a picture someone posts or something someone says, when the person posting it probably doesn't even know the one getting excited exists and if they were ever to meet them, would probably think they were a helmet anyway.
  4. Isnt it amusing how whenever anyone mentions signing players with premier league experience there is always someone who trots out the usua ames of a number of failed or injury prone, past it players, like they are the only players in the whole country with premier league experience.
  5. A fascinating take on events. Thanks Andy.
  6. If you need to ask, you ain't one.
  7. http://metro.co.uk/2012/12/23/southampton-relay-race-ends-in-embarrassment-for-pants-splitting-santa-3328568/ getting mugged off by the papers.
  8. Holister and Abercrombie and Fitch is just as bad.
  9. I'm a plumber! When would you like me and my mate to come over and take a look?! PM me your address and I'll arrange it.
  10. No. Slightly irked is more like it.
  11. I don't dispute it, just merely pointing out a scenario as to why in some cases, those pansies rolling around on the floor, might actually have a legitimate reason.
  12. I do love how people are using finding the relay funny as some sort of badge of honour to prove they are not miserable.
  13. I love this arguement, you can't compare the two at all. Totally different types of tackles and sports. Im not condoning the ones that dive, however If an 11 stone striker running almoat as fast as an Olympic sprinter, is clattered by a 15 stone 6 foot 3 centre half built like a brick sh*t house it's going to hurt and if it's even slightly mistimed it's going to cause them some damage.
  14. Not seem many posts commenting on it, most people are just slagging off Fergie. Yes, he was a bit over the top, I said as much in my OP on this thread. I expect most managers would react angrily in similar circumstances. Would you?
  15. Ahh, brilliant. The old football is played by pansies, Rugby, now that's a real mans game argument.
  16. Yeah you're right, we should all just ignore the incident and slag off Ferige. What a *****!! How dare he be angry one of his players could have been seriously injured by a ball being smashed at their head!
  17. Our home form isn't even that good Swansea Fulham Wigan Sunderland Norwich 3 points out of 15 from those winnable games.
  18. I love it now some many people are having a go at Fergie for his comments when he was clearly angry at what had happened and totally ignoring the fact that a player could have been seriously injured by someone smashing a ball at a players head from 2 foot away, if that had been one of our players you'd be going nuts demanding he be banned for life. All you mugs on about no one ever dying from being stuck by a football clearly have no idea just how hard proffesional footballers can strike a ball. It's not like being struck by one hit by on our fat, fancy dress half time relay boys.
  19. Yep, don't critise the player for what he did, critise the manager for being angry about it.
  20. If you want to get into kettlebells then a good place to start is by following the kettlebell minimum programme. It's 20 swings followed by a minute of cardio, jogging, skipping, whatever for 12 minutes twice a week and 5 minutes of Turkish get ups twice a week. once you can do 20 swings comfortably, go to 30, then 40 and then 50. You'll be surprised how quickly you progress, then you can move onto other programmes.
  21. He may have got a bit carried away but he was spot on. It was disgraceful behaviour by Williams.
  22. If you'be got me on ignore why do you want me to tell you when I'm doing the half time relay you wierdo?
  23. Don't insult me chalet I am not a parrot headed, burton suited rep. I am senior telesalesist. I also note this is the second infractable comment you've made in the last few days. An insult at me and sarcy comment. Who is moderating the mods?
  24. You still haven't told me how many saves their keeper made or answered Krackens post of which ones were worth praise. Stop coming up with hilarious nicknames like Turkey and start answering questions, its you that's getting personal.
  25. Resorting to abuse, sad. Remind me how many chances We created. How many notable saves their keeper made.
