  1. LOL at them wanting Pardew out!
  2. Spot on.
  3. The obvious candidates are Ramirez and puncheon. For me though I thought Cork was outstanding. Time after time he won the ball back, picked up loose balls and got us moving again. Nothing spectacular but a superb display.
  4. I thought Cork was fantastic.
  5. Well done again Nige, 3 games unbeaten and 7 points doing it his way. A top performance from everyone. As well as being very dangerous going forward and could have had 5 or 6 what impressed me was the amount of times we won back possession with tenacious tackling. Cork and Puncheon we outstanding at that and an unbelievable save from Gazzaniga.
  6. Sorry Francis, I don't recall anyone ever saying he had it easy because he inherited a good side.
  7. I absolutely loved Gary Speed, a top player and a top man. Gutted we missed out on signing him c2004. Just saying.
  8. I am sure some people genuinely do think this.
  9. Or you could offering nothing to the discussion at all and just post about or in reply to one poster over and over again, so most people think you're weirdly obsessed by them.
  10. brilliant! Selling executive boxes is like dealing Class As!! A Classic mongboardism. So the fact that there are loads of empty boxes means there is plenty of supply, not much demand. Maybe Cortese should take a trip down Empress Road to see how the dealers create demand!!
  11. No it isn't. It's a fact. Unless of course you are calling the multi millionaire MD of a billion pound company, which grew by 26% during the worst recession in living memory naive and hasn't got a clue what his doing.
  12. Please provide some examples of this.
  13. People buy from people. If a buying customer think you're a c*nt then they often won't deal with you. My company gave a big marketing deal to someone else because our MD thought the owner of the marketing agency was a c*nt, just one example.
  14. Colin said the business side of it is immaterial, which is nonsense, Football clubs are a busienss in the entertainment industry. People bang on about TV and that's fine when you're in the Premier league, but what happens if we get relegated, which is entirely possible? Where does our money come from then? Its then you rely on local companies to help you out by advertising, sponsorship and corporate sales. Screw them over when you think you don't need them them don't expect them to e there when you do.
  15. Unsurprisingly missing the point as usual.
  16. It's not easy to miss, just watch thier goal again. The problem with Lallana is we were told all summer he was having a new central role, then we signed Ramirez who seems to be playing there instead. Lallana isn't suited to playing wide, he's not quick enough, his tracking and defending isn't good enough, cant tackle and he isnt a captain. We could get away with it in the championships but not in the premier league. Dare I say this n here but maybe he is one the many players that are quality in the championship but not quite up to top flight.
  17. I think youre confusing youself Colin, It was you that mentioned radio stations and world class catering, keep up. Unfortunately what you seem to be unable to grasp is that these days football clubs are a business and that business is entertainment. If it was just about what happened on the pitch Leeds would still be playing in the champions league, no?
  18. What are you on about? You said the business side was immarterial. Tell me how we are to be a self sustainable business without debt that the Cortese has stated we would be in the business side is not important?
  19. Have a read this right? You don't want a good manager because we will do well and other clubs would hate us?
  20. Obsession? What are you on about?
  21. And who was the poster who said earlier this week, before any of these reports, that was sneered out for saying a member of the Chelsea board had told him that he was lined up in the summer if he didn't get the Chelsea job and not to rule out this happening now?
  22. Utter nonsense Colin and so incredibly naive, the club won't progress without the business side of things doing well. How are we going to be the self sustaining business that doesn't do debt we were told we were going to be if the business side of th club is a shambles?
  23. Really? There are only about 15 corporate boxes regularly in use and about 1,000 empty corporate tickets most weeks this is roughly the same as when we were in league one. How many clubs do you know where corporate sales have stayed the same even though the club are two divisions higher!! Is it because it's an overpriced crap product, but this can't be true as we are told Cortese is a great businessman, so maybe he's decided to limit corporate boxes to only selling 15, to make them even more exclusive!!
  24. Milburn are the most under rated band ever. FACT
  25. Lets asks the local businesses why hardly any of them want to buy corporate seats at St Marys, supply was outstripping demand in 2004/05 season despite us being rubbish. Less than 50% take up now, why is that Colin?
