wouldn't be at all surprised to see Hull win it. A good team who are hitting form at the right time. Its often the case that a team hits form at the right time and goes on a run to make the play offs then wins them. Us and Ipswich are faltering and WBA although tough to beat and resilient should be beatable by the other 3 over two legs.

the 89/90 season was amazing and probably one of the best seasons i remember. We were a brilliant team, scored some great goals. I was 13 and it was the first season i had started going with my mates. Do our paper round on a saturday morning, get our £6, go training for our Tyro league team then bus into town, buy either a match programme or a fanzine, £2 to get in then, stand at the back of the Milton under the family centre for the game then get some chips from the chippy in Bedford Place and bus home. Was a great time to be a young Saints fan. Met Chris Nicholl a few times around then, school trips to the Dell, junior Saints things, he was a lovely guy and always said hello.

A couple of the bloke ones are bellends but most of them are pretty sound. I always wondered how fit the gladiators actually are and if they’re just big lumps who look good for the cameras but Steel is Zack George who used to be UK CrossFit champion. The guy insanely fit and strong so all credit to the athletes doing it.

Honestly didn’t know anything about him when he signed he might be decent but so far I’ve seen a player score a belter but then repeatedly be sloppy in possession, make basic errors, give the ball away cheaply and not look at it. You can say it’s the system but when he’s repeatedly messing up 15 yard passes you have to wonder…
