I'd disagree with that. He was a good footballer but not a good finisher. His touch, control, strength were very good, he could certainly striker a ball too but the problem was his finishes wasn't great. Long and Ormerod on the other were quick, hard working but pretty limited footballers.

It wasnt just VVD and Fonte too, in the summer he lost Mane and Pelle who were our two leading scorers, and Wanyama who at the time was one of the best CDMs in the league. The spine of Koemans team was gone and replaced with Boufal, Austin, Stephens, Yoshida, Redmond and Hojbjerg. Huge downgrades. I left it a couple of weeks and decided not to bother going back as didn't need the hassle given it's only a football forum with about 20 regular posters. It was a shame as at its height TUI was brilliant with some stuff that had me in tears with laughter and it's dull as fuck now, so the guy got what we wanted and ruined the forum. As i say im sure no one gives a shit, it was 5 years ago and i wont mention it again but he keeps peddling this lie over and over again for years when he has no idea what happened but keeps making out he does and that it's some sort of power over me (interestingly another trait of a narcissist!)
