  1. Don’t you think it stems back to that western arrogance that we know so much more than them, we know so much better than them, they should live how we live. I certainly think there is an element of that. Soggy even went as far as to say it’s our responsibility to educate the savages. Breathtaking arrogance.
  2. People aren’t protesting, they’re making token gestures that they withdraw from when it means they might be negatively impacted by it. You can argue all you like about the rights and wrongs of the laws but they’re the laws of the country and western countries are trying to push their values on other countries who don’t have them at the moment. It doesn’t mean their values are right but it’s what they are doing.
  3. Everyone is as long as they obey the rules, same as anywhere else.
  4. So people are trying to impose their beliefs on a countries laws, which is exactly what I said.
  5. I think that was what we wanted for Jay Rodriguez and they told us to do one. Rather than that was their offer. Les would have bitten their hand off for that.
  6. Seriously ITV are employing him now to agree with whatever decision was made on the pitch?
  7. In fairness, it's not really going to work for players in their 20s and new to it, it's absolutely brilliant for kids though. Some of the things they can do with a ball are night and day to the "get rid of it" when i played at that age where the players who were big and fast did well but anyone else didn't get a look in. My lad is 9 and has been going for nearly a year now along with 2 other lads from his saturday team plus another has just signed up after his parents saw the difference it's made. The touch, skill, speed of though and movement and awareness they are miles ahead of the rest of the team and lot of other players in the league. It's coming through in results too, last season was their first year playing competitive football and they struggled getting beaten most weeks, sometimes quite heavily, they lost one game this season so far and really should have won that, they've drew 4-4 with a team who hadn't lost in 2 years and who beat them 8-0 last season. The biggest problem we have is that we have a strong 8 or 9 players then 2-3 not so good but if they're all there they have to get a fair amount of game time each regardles of score or ability. I honestly think if those rules weren't in place they'd have won every game so far.
  8. if a gay person wanted to become a muslim should muslims change their entire belief system to allow that person to join the faith?
  9. Salisu, Bella-Kotcha, Yoshida, Caceres, Van Dijk, Lovren, Alderwiereld, Bednarek. If you're in this world cup and haven't played centre back for Southampton you are no one.
  10. They're still banging on about Bale. He was pretty anonymous all game then scored a penalty FFS.
  11. Les thought Jack Stephens was the new Bobby Moore so insisted he play over Caceres.
  12. the crowd in this game sounds like a bunch of school kids
  13. What do you think the wearing of armbands, rainbow hats etc is trying to achieve then?
  14. Lions do not care for the opinions of gazelles.
  15. Aren't homosexuals and others trying to instil their will on non homosexuals who do live by those belief systems then? would a gay person walk into a mosque in the UK and expect to be welcomed changing the law of islam for them?
  16. his latest venture appears to be doing very well too, some good young players coming through this. PLus with his local FDS club they've got quite a few players in local league and non-league football teams Integer
  17. They didn't say that though in that context, they spoke about how hard they tried, they had two deals lined up with personal terms agreed but were delayed due to champions league matches, then they fell through at the last minute leaving no time to do anything else. They then say the overall view of the window is "wow, we signed a lot of really good players" and they did. Overall not really sure what people expect, it was okay, hardly "monster" but an interesting read, not exactly a revelation but then they aren;t going to do that in the athletic. Doesnt appear like Semmens is going anywhere soon despite rumours
  18. thanks
  19. Monster!
  20. Dare I request an update on the whereabouts of the five pledges as their first action?
  21. Turkish

    Ross Wilson

Given before joining us he had a record of a goal every two games perhaps that one should blamed on Pellegrino, Hughes and Ralph not wee Ross
  22. Plus they’ve now got a huge unpaid tax bill to stump up for
  23. We all know Muslims are quite relaxed about their faith and open to changing their beliefs to move with a times so if a few youngsters want to get on the beers and be gay I’m sure the clerics will just let them crack on, especially if they stick a rainbow armband on.
  24. What a 🛎🔚
  25. My unlaundered Money is on Semmens gone
