  1. Chatgpt seems to think he needs a loan but is potentially a good championship striker. Maybe we are using chatgpt for our transfer business? 🟢 Potentially a very useful pro striker: He has physical traits, a scoring history in Germany, and international experience — all positives for growth. 🔴 Needs time and right environment: The transition to English football has been tough, and his current form doesn’t yet reflect his underlying potential. ⚖️ Long-term outlook: If he adapts, finds scoring form and continues developing, he could become a strong Championship/second-tier forward or even a top-division contributor. If not, he may plateau as a squad player or need a strategic loan to regain confidence and form.
  2. Quite probably. At least they've acted and we've got the Right to Dream guy in now, too late for Downs sadly but might save some of the others.
  3. Er wird in der Bundlesliga kochen
  4. Just better than shit would be an improvement
  5. TBF though as club captain you're probably pissing in the wind with the incomptence around you, from the top right down. When the bloke at the top of the tree is an absolute joke who thinks he can reinvent football and surrounds himself with yes men a guy on the shop floor is not going to convince someone who thinks he's a genius that he's wrong. Imagine working for a company where pretty much every decision the leaders got was wrong over a period of years which had seen every area of the company deteriorate to very poor levels and you're the ones going out and taking all the shit from the customers. I agree with Fitz here, JS might not be the best but there are far bigger problems at this club than him. I expect he'll be one of those that doesnt really get appreciated until he leaves
  6. Protecting our investment Thinking of the future resell value His luck will turn soon
  7. You’ve got to remember he’s had a lot of bad luck.
  8. Correct we were awful
  9. Yes you’re right they were all signed before he was here. we had our fair share of duds under him though Djenepo, Diallo, Perrard, Lyanco plus the disastrous summer 2022 Ralph actually did a remarkable job considering the hand he was dealt. I know he lost a lot of credit due to the 9-0s but when you consider what followed he did so well
  10. I went there in the championship season under Adkin’s so don’t even have the new ground reason to go. It going to be freezing so I’ll pass. Apathy reigns in my house
  11. I wouldn’t say that. We had to sell to buy for years. We had to pay Carrillo to leave, Hoedt, Lemina and a few others were forever loaned out and sold at a loss, Elyanoussi left on a free incredible that no one would pay a fee for an attacking player who was at his best when he didn’t have the ball. These are just a few of the dross we struggled to clear out and those 4 alone cost us £65m and we probably didn’t even make 15% of that back
  12. Used to finish posts saying things like Love and light It was one of Glasgows user names, who also no longer posts. Guess the momentum curve swang too far for him
  13. Do you think a police spokesman would says "im not surprised, it's hell down there and has been for years"
  14. Just about to say that. its been freezing and thats going to continue all week up here, not getting about 3 degrees according to the forecast with sleet thursday and friday, snow on saturday. Could well be off.
  15. looks like their concerns were valid, unless it’s just the right wing stirring it up https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/25739957.man-staying-southampton-asylum-hotel-admits-sex-offences/
  16. Used to love this place when I lived near there. Bad times https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/25740136.ceno-bar-restaurant-portswood-announces-closure/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwZnRzaAPIvYBleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZAo2NjI4NTY4Mzc5AAEe-z3pu-l-61VatKsOW8cC2G-2EuA_gkCSH8Hitdr2ahTUtzZuJjV-K2AVKaQ_aem_XrXiXqBzEAgVf0NtPtrkvw#Echobox=1767623854
  17. TBF i can forgive Orsic, he at least had some pedigree, was a Croatia international and had played and scored for them in the world cup where they'd come third, plus i think he played in the champions league and he was relatively cheap, 6m i think. Those two though club record fees for players that were just absolute shit and you could see as soon as they played they were miles off the level needed.
  18. Yes, i remember the proud boast that he was personally taking charge of recruitment in the January window 2023, he failed to sign anyone decent and we ended up with TP and Sulemana, a true car crash.
  19. Me too, he’ll be full of confidence after his strong save yesterday.
  20. Not the first time he's done this. Remember when he went apoplectic at someone for using the term "living in your head rent free" saying it was making fun of people with mental health issues. Then a few weeks later used that expression himself. When he got pulled up on it he gave his usual arrogant responses. The hypocrisy is off the scale.
  21. Still came out and said he would play 4-2-3-1 if he could. If cant have been because of the players he has as they are ideal for that system. He also dropped Baz so i cant think he's being told to play him. It's definitely weird though that two managers have both played the same way, persisted with it when it's blatently not been working and one of them has actually come out and said hed prefer to play a different way.
  22. The great fix starts here! 3-0 Saints Damion Downs hattrick 👊
  23. this is the first step on the ladder of the great fix, yes?
  24. and now we all know why! He was hailed as a genius, seriously impressive etc when he came here. Brentford seemed gutted he left. He has been nothing short of a disaster for us. So just what has gone wrong?
