Agreed. That's kind of the point i was making as well. It was reporting racist abuse but there are levels of racist abuse. in my mind writting "Rashford sh1t in a bucket" on a wall is not racist abuse. Posting images of monkeys on social media is, very childish but still racist then there is truly nasty stuff. It's a dangerous route when any abuse of a black person is considered racist, but i believe that's the route that we are going down. Surely by definition racist is abuse is abusing someone because of skin colour or race, not because they did something and happen to be black/asian etc with no reference to this at all.

Thanks. Pretty abhorrent. Not sure why other people couldn’t do this rather than calling people names. As I said originally I wasn’t doubting it happened, just with it being top of the agenda in the media I was a bit surprised to see there wasn’t any screen shots or photos doing the rounds as there usually are.

Funny how someone so against social media abuse does it themselves so easily.

It is a minority, a huge minority. We know how you like to scream everyone is racist but the reality is it would appear that it’s about 1 Twitter user for every 7 million accounts, still let’s pretend it’s not a minority shall we.

Right so despite it being really easy to find (supersonic said he found loads in 20 seconds) no one has actually been able to share any links yet because they are only reporting it. So I was right then, there isn’t actually any evidence of it, which was my point.

It took about 3 seconds to find the beckham images. I googled “England players racially abused” looked at about 10 links and founds lots of condemnation but no actual evidence (which as I say I am not saying didn’t happen). If you’ve got some you could share it if you like.

Like i said, usually you'd get photos, screen shots etc the media are all over it, there's been nothing apart from widespread condemnation, which considering the outcry for two days now is a bit strange. When it was Beckham This was in every paper. Seen nothing like it with this stuff, which you'd have thought there would be.

Obviously they were as it's not something that anyone would make up. It's just with the fact it's been top of agenda in the media for a couple of days there has been very little actual evidence of this. Has anybody actually seen any of this racist abuse? We've had a huge outpouring of condemnation for it (rightly so) but all i've actually seen is a bit of Marcus Rashfords mural be damaged, no suggestion it was racially motivated. Thinking back to 1998 when David Beckham was the whipping boy of the country there were soft toys in Beckham shirts pictured hanging from a tree.

It wouldn’t be the first time though would it. I remember being at a game where fans were ironically cheering our own goalkeeper and spent 90 minutes abusing Guly, then gave Walcott and Chamberlain a standing ovation when they were playing against us for arsenal.
