My prediction? Saints expelled - playoff different from league. Middlesborough lost fair and square (no advantage gained by Saints) so they are out too. Hull promoted without playing the final. From EFL perspective bad deeds are penalised and their reputation for "fairness" not besmirched. They lose the revenue from their big match but think that is worth it. Saints and Middlesborough make legal challenges but by the time it's sorted Hull are playing in the Premier league. We both get some monetary compensation.

Let's assume we are found guilty by the commission. Who decides what the punishment should be? Independent commission or EFL?

If the hearing has not yet been heard then no one knows what the outcome will be. EFL must prepare for any outcome.

IF Saints are guilty and IF Tonda was aware I think Tonda will be the most likely guy to br punished as it's a footballing issue rather than a financial one. Maybe a fine too.

Whilst this debate is all very entertaining and worrisome I think I'll just wait for a statement either from the club or the EFL.

I hope Ipswich go on and take second now. They would be the hardest play off opponents.

Can't say I'm too bothered. I want promotion and a cup win not some half arsed EFL award.
