Amazing that we go into such a big game with such a ****e goalkeeper. Probably the 4th best we own.

What line will you use when we finish 8th?
Saint Charlie replied to Aziz Yebda's topic in The Saints
Keeper situation largely to blame for poor recent form. Hard to win games with dire goalkeepers. -
We may well need more than 3 points now from the next two. Away form in 2015 will have cost us, especially of late if we don't get 7th. 5th was there for the taking this season. When Spurs and Liverpool inevitably improve next year it will be hard to have that chance again.

Top 4 chance now gone? Europa Thoughts?
Saint Charlie replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Our players are ambitious and will still feel they can make the top 4. -

They will be thinking they can come 6th. We will bite your hand off to just stay 7th. Momentum everything in the PL. -

Swansea giving themselves a great chance to finish above us. -
Bloody Journos etc etc...

Leaving for a Champions League team as he pretty much told The Sun.

Cork not as good as Schneiderlin and Wanyama. But... Would Cork be inferior to three of of the central midfield options we have next season? Time will tell. Especially if Wanyama gets his way.

They were talking about Austin on Talksport and Collymore reckoned he would be looking at a team 8th downwards and when Saints were suggested he thought we would be looking for someone better.

Post-Match Reaction: Leicester City 2-0 SAINTS
Saint Charlie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
5th and especially 6th absolutely there for the taking this season, 6th still is. If we don't get Europa League then its no better than last season IMO, which isnt a disgrace at all but a shame after such a good start. We were a better attacking side last year, better defensive this. But any squad with only one proper GK is leaving themselves open. Form since Forster injury very poor and two goals conceded virtually every game. Biggest problem: players hyping up top 4 then losing interest and trying to get out once its clear it wasn't happening. Wanyama and Clyne especially poor of late. -
Great servant but most recent contract extension was 2 years too long IMO.

Keeper situation pretty dire. Too much faith in those proven to not even be good enough backup. Has contributed to a poor end to a great season but at least its undeniable we only have one keeper on the books that is anywhere near PL quality and he is injured until 2016. Priority one for the summer.

Decent player made to look good by some excellent players he was playing with at Saints. Should find another good club on past rep though.

Brilliant loan spell for Stephens and Jordan Turnbull. Playing virtually every minute in a decent side that plays out from the back. Would be great if they can get to Wembley and then have a good go in pre season at staking a claim. Wonder if either will be in our first team squad next year? Stephen's versatility to play CB, RB and in midfield could be useful.

Rodriguez has returned - BREAKING: NEW CONTRACT SIGNED
Saint Charlie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Absolutely brilliant news if the club have managed to persuade Jay Rod to sign a new deal. -

Les Reed isn't aware of any interest in me. After today's Wanyama inspired fiasco I'm going to just take a break and come back, refreshed after the end of the season as pro everything, NickG style poster. Those were my roots. See you then. -

Modern football I guess. Remember he took ages to agree to join us over Cardiff in the first place. I'm sure his plan was always to look to move on about now. Poor way to act today though. -

Latest batch of Wanyama tweets make it even worse. Clear as mud. All IMHO of course, Morph -

No. Just Yuki, Richmond, Dig Dig, Sour Mash, Grigsy and Saint86 as far as I remember. I probably need a ban and to have a break over the summer. Its all getting a bit much. It was since the Les Reed interview where he hadn't noticed our players were all being approached and that MP wanted to leave. Oh well, its been fun. -

Only Yuki, Dig Dig and Sour Mash. Not Glasgow. Or Dubai Phil. Everyone has more than one account anyway. -
