Just enjoy the game and fact we equalised. No disputing the fact Morgan isnt thrilled at being here but at least he is being a good professional. Now lets win and try to create some more chances.
-
Get in!

Can anyone really blame Schneiderlin? Made it pretty clear he saw his future elsewhere after 5 of his teammates were allowed to go. Became a martyr for the **** up of a window.
-
Hard to see us coming back into it now. Will massively struggle for goals this season.
-
Sounds good and like this system suits us a little more. First goal massive for two teams without lots of goals in them.
-
Bench is woeful from an attacking perspective. Really highlights the lack of options.
-
No chance of either.

Too many players to mention the others who have left after 3 weeks, eh? The negotiations probably look longer than that. Was probably only near the end that someone realised the kid couldnt speak English and didnt actually want to move but was being pushed out by Inter.
-
1 in 2 out (Taider and Boruc).

The QPR comparison is fairly simple to understand, as I made clear it was referring to player trading. Manager etc is not relevant to that. Will try again for you: We have brought in some good players, but also lost 5 of our best players. Nobody could say we are at all stronger after this window than we were last season. QPR haven't lost anyone they wanted to keep who played for them last season. They have also added the likes of Ferdinand, Caulker, Mutch, McCarthy, Isla, Vargas and soon to have added Diarra. They have strengthened versus last season, which in simple terms is what you should be looking to do in the transfer window. As you say, we were miles, miles ahead of them last season. But we havent strengthened and they have, so not too illogical to say that purely in terms of player trading they have had a far, far better transfer window than us. Do you really disagree with any of the above?
-
Not Saints related as such but apparently Leicester are bidding 8m for David McGoldrick. Jesus. Makes Long look a snip.
-
Put it this way, who thinks we would have signed Taider if we hadnt ever spoken to Inter re Osvaldo this summer? They tried to dump their cast offs on us in exchange for taking him. Separate deals but connected. We took Taider and didnt take Schelotto after initially looking like we would.
-
You can look but won't find them. QPR and Palace might have poor seasons but neither has lost any of note (QPR didnt have Remy last season) and both have added. No way they are weaker than last season like we are. That doesnt make me depressed, its just an opinion. It hasnt been a good window for us. Not a crime to admit it.
-
Have you seen my question to you re a team who has had a worse player trading window than us?
-
Hardly. They have a poor team by their standards but player for player are better now than in May. Any others? Notice the guy the question was asked to hasnt responded.
-
One simple question for you, which you will probably bottle. Which teams have had a worse summer than us in terms of player trading? I bet you can't name one.
-
We sold Remy x 5.
-
Its not that though, is it? Window drawing to a close and you see other teams (who didnt sell five of their best players) looking like doing some good business. West Ham getting Song, QPR McCarthy to be a sub keeper when we have Davis. Sunderland closing on Van Dijk and maybe Alderweireld. Nearly sll the teams that finished below us are stronger than last year. We most certainly are not - not even approaching being equal to last year. That is why people are frustrated. We have only been back in the PL two seasons and in this window have put our place back in jeopardy. Why did it takes us ages to replace Lovren when it was clear in June he would be going? Have we replaced the goals we lost? Probably not. Somehow we have spent £10m on a good keeper, yet if a loan offer comes in for Boruc, will be no stronger in that position than last year. We brought in a good Manager who wants to play 4-3-3 with genuine wingers, and then despite him asking for one for weeks now, look to be scrambling around in the last couple of days hoping to pick someone up. Forgive me for being a little frustrated, but Ralph said to judge in September and we will be pleasantly suprised. Since that interview we have loaned and lost Taider, overpaid for 27 year old Long and have signed Gardos who hasnt played yet and who will do very well to be anything like as good as the guy he is ultimately replacing. With three days left, I dont see much to be pleasantly suprised by, do you?
-
Ok. Ask someone who knows their football but has no vested interest in Saints and they will tell you that our window has been terrible. Is that better?
-
Anyone we sold was far better value to the buying club than what we bought Pelle and Long for. Unless you are one of those on here that hugely decreases the quality of players we have sold the minute they officially leave.
-
Anyone who thinks we have had anything but the worst transfer window in the league is deluded. Ask any non Saints fan and they will confirm it for you. As far as player trading goes, in and out of the club, it has been poorly planned and executed.
-
QPR in talks for Sandro. Would be another very decent signing from a rival.
-
Ability to and likelihood of a player adapting to a new environment and football style most certain is something assessed though.
-
Just speaking the truth.
-
We aren't a good enough team to **** around signing players with potential commercial abilities. He isn't good enough to improve our team. We were better than Stoke last year and rivals this. If we sold them Billy Sharp we would think, "what the **** have you bought him for?" and laugh at them.
