Very rarely do transfer requests come in and a player stays. Nearly always there is an offer on the table and this is the formal request to the club to let the player go.

So they rejected it? Either way, if he handed one in then he will go at some point this summer. We are going to have to make some serious signings to replace the quality we will lose.

Not sure what your point is? We have 3 or 4 CL quality players then a few just below that. But not as many as other teams, plus some Championship standard players, which is why those other teams were ahead of us.

Because players like Hooiveld, Fox and Gazzaniga were ruthlessly exploited and are not of PL quality. Because the squad as a whole isnt better than the teams above us, even though our first XI isnt much below the likes of Everton and Spurs. You can't carry players in the PL. We had to. Because we lacked cover in key positions and injuries hurt us more than those above us.

Not just the ITKs. A few years ago, before your time, there were loads of good posters. Most of them don't post anymore, and you can see why. There may well be good posters in the future. To be considered one, everyone has to know your first name, and refer to it when addressing you. Traditional names like Bill, Dave, Brian, Ron etc tend to work best.

Also the football Hull played hasn't exactly been part of some kind of philosophy as was the case with say Martinez, who, even if his Wigan team struggled, you could see what he stood for. Bruce would be an awful appointment IMO.

Does anyone really believe that in the past 6 months when we assessed the upcoming Managers and Coaches, planning for the post MP transition, that Mancini's name was even mentioned? I certainly don't. Reed said the final four were all on their initial list which IMO rules out Mancini. He will go to another team playing European football. Would be beyond amazed if either a.) He has been our no 1 for months or b.) He would even consider it.

Probably more comfortable on the right, we are well stocked there.
