Some interesting comments about Koeman from Feyenoord fan @Markla94: I don't know much about the Saints, but I do know they have a good academy. He would be a good one, he is someone who has brought a lot of academy players into the first team, both at Ajax and Feyenoord. When he came to Feyenoord, we had no money and only academy players. He created something very special. So I think he is a good coach in hard situations (I explained the context of the current situation). But when you have money to spend, he can bring in the right players for sure. In that case, he is the ideal next manager. Some rumors today that he wants to bring Graziano Pelle along. Would be thrilling for you to have him. Best striker in NL.

But who is ultimately in charge, Krueger, Reed or Rogers? O someone else? Ralph is just a mouthpiece IMO.

As I said in another thread, I think the Board will just get as much cash as possible for most of them and then replace with players who have signed up for Saints as it is now rather than as it was under Cortese.

Krueger is just the public face (and makes some odd comments as doesn't "get" football yet) which is why he takes flak.

He is a Journalist FFS. Its a big story and he gets bombarded with questions from fans. More interviews are pointless because its all PR waffle. The club need to 'do' not 'say'.

Lambert and Lallana both love the club and if they don't think something is working then it most likely isn't.

I don't know the ins and out, I just bothered to post the info. If I answered it would just be an opinion. But Blackmore is close to the players so ask him what more the Board could have done and he will probably tell you. His Twitter is @bigadamaport and he is pretty responsive.

Keep denying if you want, but I will trust Blackmore, he is usually on the money and speaks to the players. It is a major problem. They do not respect the people in charge. Cortese communicated well with players, they knew where they stood and what the club's plans were. Now they feel ignored. Not a huge motivator I am sure, especially when you know bigger teams are interested in you anyway..

Read it again, its quite clear. There is no communication between the players and the Board. That is the problem. Players have tried to speak to them to find out what is happening, what the plans are, when contract talks can happen etc and have basically been fobbed off/ignored.

Will no doubt end up with a grateful "Yes Man" in the Garcia mould who will sign up to whatever conditions to be able to get a chance in the PL.

Only difference is that we will have quite a lot of cash as probably have 5 players worth £15m plus and a few others worth over £5m. If we spend some of that we could be competitive but will need more Lovrens and lesa Forren's to be identified. IMO the Manager choice will say a lot. No Manager worth his salt will want to come here at the moment unless they are promised sizeable funds. If we get a decent Manager then perhaps we can scrape though, of we get a no mark then we could be in serious trouble.

Will almost be a case of starting from stratch which surely will mean a relegation battle and its utterly bizarre for a PL club. Ultimatetly the makeup of the new Board is wrong.
