Krueger and Hofsetter have no football background. Krueger has never been a Chairman of a Sports Club. Rogers is a Financial Officer and oversaw our "financially difficult" scenario and has never been a CEO of a Company. Too much inexperience at once IMO and the PL not the place to learn.

One candidate who has just done his badges and set for a big future as a Manager is Lucien Mettomo.

If it were another club you would laugh your head off at some of his comments since joining. Solent interview was an absolute facepalm 10mins and the comment to Duncan that you refer to equally odd.

Someone with a proper playing style that is similar to MP's. None of these (Scottish) wallies like Mackay or Clarke and lets be honest, after MP someone like Howe would be so underwhelming, both for us and the players. Would be worth asking Gary Neville (although he wouldnt be keen) otherwise hopefully Les will use his contacts to find another MP type somewhere.

Doesnt look like it, does it? Could easily have called them out in public on it once it became clear MP was off there (which was probably a couple of weeks ago).

Alpine - Spurs versus Saints minus Shaw and Lallana (plus JR for half the season) and lower investment is a no brainer.

Don't blame the board for not being able to keep him. I blame the way they have let it play out. Telling us they were "comfortable" and then nothing.... Spurs have been playing us for 2 months and we let it go on like we didnt realise. We have let them mess up our summer planning by not being firmer when it was first obvious they wanted him and telling them to either get it done then or back off. Our new Manager will have to get to know the squad, we will lose players and probably not have replaced before we start the games.

Not sure why people blame Pochettino? Pretty sure he would have stayed had the conditions been to his liking. After doing a great job with an 8/10 squad why would he want to stay and work with what in all liklihood will be a lesser squad. Football is a cut throat industry and he worked his balls off and did a great job whilst here. Would I want him to fail at Spurs? No. More bothered about our hierarchy than MP.

But...do the likes of Krueger and Rogers really deserve their positions at the helm of a PL football club? Do they have any track record to suggest they qualify?
