Well Gareth Rogers is CEO. The man who acted as Chief Financial Officer at a club where the financial situation was described as "difficult" and then got promoted.

Also interesting that there have been a lot more comments from players outside of club channels than we used to get. Most of them aren't over complementary.

Agree its completely weird. Especially aa Rogers handled the "difficult financial situation" that the new board inherited. Hard to know who is ultimately in charge, Rogers, Krueger or KL? And really, are any of them experienced to the level needed?

No. Look how MP improved players like S Davis, Lallana, Fonte, Rodriguez. No point settling for what you have if there is someone better - and MP is better than Adkins. In hindsight, Adkins was lucky to work with talent like Lallana, Chamberlain, Lambert, Fonte, Cork, Schneiderlin etc outside the top flight - and did a great job, but with top players who have proven themselves a level or two above L1 and the Champ.

Sad in that it signals last season was our peak and one we could enjoy for about a day before it started to unravel.
