Exactly. None of it actually means anything. Krueger told me at the Awards Dinner that he though the Spurs talk was "just media speculation" despite everyone else knowing it wasn't. Spurs just announced our Manager joining them at exactly the same time we announced he resigned, it all smacks of being bullied to me. Read the statement again, the words are hollow.

****y statement there.
-
Another ****y statement.

Really? Wait a few mins.
-
Are you Viking in disguise?
-
He would have stayed if we were ambitious.
-
Clearly it's about Pochettino leaving...
-
Poch would have stayed if he felt he could take us forward. Completely understand his position. Will be a few players next. End of the Cortese era of being a vaguely important British club.
-
About to be official it seems.

He is a work experience nipper at Crook's place. He phoned around a load of the supposed candidates and Yakin has apparantly spoken to him. He doesnt have a job so would expect he has said something along the lines of, "I have always wanted to manage in the Premier League so we will see what happens." However, I thought someone said he doesnt speak English.

They are the classic responses to negative opinions. Basically, you are depressed, go outside, get a life etc etc Because you can't do those things AND post negative stuff on SWF.

A comprehensive guide that, IMO, should be made a sticky over the summer. Btw, how many days ago now was Reed's statement? Must be 30-40? Would that make it invalid now?
-
Worth remembering that McClaren has failed in his previous 3 jobs before Derby: Forest, Wolfsburg and Twente second time around.
-
Benali with Christer Warren as assistant would be better than some of these names mentioned. What a comedown from Pochettino.
-
I've met and spoken to Krueger and Rogers and heard their interviews also. Can we not have an opinion? The club at the moment is a bit of a mess. Countless examples why aside from MP.
-
Thats ludicrous. They signed their contracts because when they did the club's ambitions matched their own. Can sympathise with any player at the moment, especially the likes of Schneiderlin or Lallana. Not their fault what has happened, they couldn't have done any more for us.
-
I think he will do very well and in a couple of years will leave to manage one of the top sides in Europe. Fantastic Manager. A cracking find from the club, it has to be said.
-
Listen again to his 10min interview after the Man Utd game and tell me if he wasn't being naive. It didnt come across like he really knew what he was talking about. He has been thrust in front of cameras asking questions about an industry he is still learning. If you say the wrong things then it has consequences and this has only increased press speculation. Similar to Hofsetter's "difficult financial situation" comment. In hindsight Im sure that would have been worded differently. But you don't get a second chance.
-
Ralph will pay tribute to Spurs and say that MP is just "following his own development plan as he looks to broaden his leadership skills at the Hotspur Whites."
-
Too many people in new roles with no experience. Krueger has never been a Chairperson of any Sports team, certainly not in football. Rogers has never been a CEO and oversaw the "difficult" financial situation and then was promoted and seemingly not responsible for it anymore Hofsetter never involved in football and seems to not have a day to day involvement. Would think Reed has become a lot more important in the new regime as he is the only football person around really. Krueger etc may improve, but I get the feeling they were just very naive and will need to learn very quickly. As I said before, get Reed on the public speaking where football is concerned because RK is so cringeworthy.
-
Absolute rubbish. I suggest you watch Reed's statment from over a month ago where he said he is "comfortable" with the MP situation. We are busy working on signings of Lukaku and Caulker and no players are going anywhere. We are also working on a huge new sponsor as commerically are lagging behind - expect a massive name to be announced imminently.
-
Poch won't want Rio for his high line. Probably more Rio wanting to go to Spurs.
-
They will provide news when there is some apparantly, so Poch must not have been given permission to speak to Spurs.
-
Hopefully Reed had a good level of input in getting Poch and knows what we need. Which is basically none of those mentioned.
-
There was clearly a good reason. Its the timing and manner rather than the decision which was odd.
