  1. Probably about right. When he got fit he tended to be able to play 90mins and play a few times a week, but the injuries always put him out the frame for a long time. Still - if you check his career it was a very good one, decent goal ratio, 9 in 41 for Ireland and also played abroad.
  2. Does anyone know if he found a club? It doesn't look like it from the internet but he is 35, and IMO could still do a job in L1 for the right team. Scored some really important goals for us, and looked class when on form and fit.
  3. Last two posts sum it up well. Whats the number for Pest Control?
  4. yep - big run of games for him, depending how long AL is out.
  5. For Bologna. He was originally a winger. Not his best position perhaps but its not alien to him.
  6. Its what everyone thinks. Constantly wumming and trolling on every thread. Julius Duncan hasnt even started in his role FFS!
  7. You really are an odius little ****wit.
  8. He starts in January.
  9. He did, was terrible, and has also played a couple of tiems without success on the left for the U21s. He is a striker, like Hooiveld is a CB not a LB just because he is left footed.
  10. Which is? Oh yes, a Facebook event.
  11. Especially out wide where he has played before. There seems to be this bizarre logic that Lee can play well on the left because he is left footed. This is despite him not playing there and also the fact that our wide men tend to play on the opposite side to cut inside. Very strange.
  12. Umm - I don't think he has anything to do with that - as you know full well.
  13. I wouldnt say Adkins presser yesterday was the most informative, he was bullish in his approach - but there certainly was a clear strategy in how to respond to the questions so Im sure he has been working on a few things with Julius. He hasn't started his role officially but Im sure is influencing already. Looks like another savy appointment.
  14. Who is your first team then?
  15. AP showing my Metalist boys some love: "They're one of the powers of the new Europe," Pardew told BBC Newcastle. He added: "They're a relatively newly created side with finance. It'll be a tough journey and possibly one that is impossible for our fans." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20798976
  16. Unlikely because he said its a new name.
  17. Could be - but Hudson seems a bit old at 30 for the type we normally go for.
  18. You sound like a Professor of the Moong. Having researched them it seems you are correct. I will be ordering a hefty supply of Moong Dhall!
  19. Everyone's favourite Journalist Alan Nixon says the Sunday People should have a story on a Saints defensive target. His comments: "New name, bit of a suprise" "Bit of a risk. But very honest player" "You're always better judging players AFTER they move" "A very whole-hearted Championship player"
  20. Lee has done nothing to warrant a place at the expense of Rodriguez, Guly or Mayuka - let alone out of position.
  21. They all labour the same points. Who cares if Chaplow is fit again, not like he will get anywhere near the team. Would be interesting to have heard a question on Mayuka and what NA thinks he could give the side, why he hasnt featured much.
  22. He would be better doing full time training as normal, but without the pressure of matches which would allow his skeletal body to develop to deal with the rigours of a long career. Unpopular message but true.
  23. Yeah they are the biggest hypocrites around. Hyping up with "El Sackio" or whatever it was before QPR then expecting him to tell them everything they want to know.
  24. Somehow can't see some magic beans helping to prolong Shaw's career. A sabatical might.
  25. Do you actually mean Mung Beans? http://www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/Y/yawye/mungbeans.html
