It was basically saying something was the case when you had no proof it was at all...and then it turning out to be incorrect. Lots of people do it on these forums to back up their points, and to be honest you have to expect to be pulled up on it, especially when you have strong and well aired views such as yours DPS. It could be 30m, it could be 10m, it could be 50m - nobody knows so you shouldn't suggest you do - whether you intended to or not. But this is a mongboard, where mongs post about the club they love - and tensions tend to run high.

It wouldn't work and IMO is a terrible idea. We probably have 7 or 8 players I would play there over Fox. Our wide midfielders interchange and come inside, link with Lambert and score goals. Fox is a left back who has been dropped. His only attribute is that he can put a ncie cross over. If he plays LM we are screwed. He is one of the slowest in the squad and is incapable of taking on a man - hardly what you need to unlock a prem defence.

Kit is important, its the clubs appearance for the season. I would swap 3 points vs Reading for a decent red and white stripe kit.

They have messed up big time by creating a kit which pretty much can never be worn. Only reason they have switched it is so they can't get complaints from people who bought a kit that is worn once or twice in the season.

Not really sure why Cortese is always labelled as being "trigger happy" - he has sacked one Manager in 4 seasons. Hardly excessive and proved without doubt to be the right decision. IMO it is because he is a foreign owner and is therefore perceived as ruthless, impatient, not a "football man" etc - all stereotype.

Agree. Anything extra is a bonus. Not bothered about cups etc, its just about being a Prem team next year, that way you can start to build a bit.

His loan runs til Jan, so they wouldn't be cancelling as such, just not renewing it. They have brought a lot of strikers in on perm deals so it does make sense for those to get priority, especially as Im sure Barnard is quite expensive in wages (probably highest of their squad). When you look at it, LB has always scored goals in L1, but that is probably his level. He is 26/7 and has no Championship record. At Saints he was surrounded by some exceptional L1 players (poss amongst the best to have played at that level in the likes of Lambert, Lallana, Chamberlain, Schneiderlin) so it was no suprise he got goals for us, and as a 250k signing it was a bargain. Hopefully someone like Sheff Utd might go for him, but wouldn't suprise me to see us struggle to get rid of him, especially on a permanent deal due to his wages. Anyone know when his contract is up?

They are more than that IMO.

SFC is IMO an ambitious football club because NC, NA and Les Reed are all ambitious and want to drive the club forward with ambition.

IMO Cortese is ambitious 9/10 which equates to very ambitious.

Biglia is class but if we signed him and a CB we would be spending 45m + in a season which just won't happen.

Anyone ever tried them? My mate keeps bringing a bowl of them into work and eating whilst others are guzzling away on crisps. Yeah he is, just back fit after injury but Lambert doesn't pick their top earners.

A couple of years ago he was quality - probably over the hill now, but we could do with someone like him back from back then.
