No, and on closer inspection how bizarre to suggest we would lose all the home games but get points from the aways?! Clearly just a troll, as we all know.
-
He will be back spouting his bile soon, probably the next time we lose. Afterall, all the teams we beat are rubbish etc, there is a serious problem at Saints, Fonte/Lambert/Yoshida/Schneiderlin arent good enough and our transfers are worse than Readings.
-
IMO this thread would be better if you had to post a picture of a Saints player as well. Would be more Saints related Main Board material.
-
Lambert was everything Roberts tried to be and wasn't, he had a very good game and created the goal with a superb pass to Clyne.

Hopefully Jonno enjoyed that, thanks all who participated. -
Reeves is now an attacking midfielder. He struggled to get in yhe Dagenham team at the bottom of L2 last year. Fox may not be popular here but he is superior to Reeves at the moment - and probably will have a far better career. Hopefully Shaw will play.

Its only ever going to be as good as the threads that are started. Instead of moaning about the current fare you could always start a thronker yourself?

Great to hear - hope his English is coming on so we might eventually hear from him!

PAUL PREDICTS: 3-1 I think Southampton will be alright. I think they've turned the corner a little bit in my opinion. I think they all know what they're doing and try and play some good football. I don't see anything but a Saints win here. Even when Reading sneaked victory at St Mary's in the Championship during their incredible run last season, they could've been beaten by 10 goals! Reading may have a chance at set-pieces because as I've mentioned before, Morrison has a great attitude when he comes up for corners and Saints goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga has looked a bit shaky, but I don't think it will be enough.

We can. Life is more important than football. Hopefully the rest of the squad can help to make him feel settled.

"Look, we want to play through the thirds of the pitch, get on the football and pass the football. Thats the vision set out by the football club." On Alex Chamberlain, "We need to nuture young Alex. He has a young skeletal body and is still growing."

Why not applaud a moment that directly contributed to where we are today? Serious. Forte is not a very good player IMO, but that game he pretty much singlehandedly got us a vital, vital win. -
yeah he used it with Lallana ages ago - I think when he signed his new contract - then also with Lambert after West Ham. Bizarre saying.
-
Clearly Fox for me. Did well when he came on at QPR and home to Swansea I think. Also has something to prove. Reeves isn't being played LB in the dev squad and is so unproven in the Prem, and neither Richardson nor Butterfield are good enough to both moving Clyne around - he and Puncheon have a good shape about themselves.
-
Not suprised, it was ill advised. Would imagine he is doubtful to play tomorrow if he is hurting today.
-
If he plays.

Haha - he says it all the time. When I was researching for my Jonno Quick thread I was drawn to this comment: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/s/southampton/9382981.stm Nigel Adkins, Jan 2011 (he has a consistency about himself)
-
Shaw just tweeted saying his ankle is hurting...
-
For me its either: "I love his bones" (said re Lallana) or "A player can also be under-aroused" (used in the pre match presser yesterday) or anything where he adds "about himself" or "about ourselves" at the end ie "We have a consistency about ourselves" Also post a good pic of NA if you want to - he has lots of different expression!
-
We actually allowed him off on compassionate leave to negiotate a move to Penarol because he hates how Nigel always says "about ourselves" or "about himself" at the end of any sentence decribing something. ie "We have a paranoia about ourselves."

It was a death in the family. Not that members of an internet mongboard need to even know that much.

http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/8315989/ Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has played down reports linking the club with Southampton's Gaston Ramirez, whilst admitting the player he would most like to sign is Gareth Bale. Fiorentina are keen to strengthen their squad in January and have been linked with a number of big names, including Ramirez, Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi and Giampaolo Pazzini of AC Milan. Whilst admitting he is an admirer of all these players, Prade doubts any of them will arrive when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year. "Rossi to Fiorentina? Giuseppe is strong but certain economic parameters are not within our reach," Prade told La Repubblica. "Gaston Ramirez? He's back as a non-EU player (meaning Fiorentina cannot take him this season). Anyway, we don't need a player with his characteristics now. Maybe in the future. "Pazzini? I think he's fine where he is but you never know. Giampaolo is a great player." Questioned on who he would most like to sign, Prade identified Bale but admitted it was an unrealistic ambition. "My biggest dream? Tottenham's Gareth Bale. He has good feet and physical strength. But it's just a dream."

Redknapp to media: "Tal is a good lad." Redknapp to Tony Fernandes: "Sign him Tony, he is a good lad." Genius of a Manager. -
