Again I agree. But look at Sinclair, Rodwell, Smalling etc. All have decided to be a squad player at a big club rather than play PL football every week. When Chelsea and Arsenal both want you its tough to say no. Of course it would be a silly move at first but foolish to think it wont happen IMO.

Not to go into their first team but he would get some games like AOC did last season. All I'm saying is if those clubs want him its easy for us to say no but a lot harder for him. If he stays til the summer he will probably leave then unfortunately.

He had some decent games for us but his best game at SMS was probably the one against us for Brentford. We should allow him out on loan though, not his fault he isnt gpod enough but we are stalling his career at the moment. Interesting to see the list of players out of contract this summer. Chaplow, Butterfield, Forecast, Richardson, Seaborne will all be gone.

Agree personally but it would be hard to turn down. Chelsea will lose Cole in the summer and Ive seen nothing much in Bertrand to suggest Shaw won't be superior to him pretty quickly. Saints seem to be happy to wait til he is 18 in the summer to offer him a new deal but wouldnt suprise me if he didnt sign one.

As if he would sell Rickie in January. Lots of Shaw to Arsenal/Chelsea in the papers today, wonder what the chance of him leaving is? His family live near to Chelsea's Cobham training ground.

Bit harsh how SFC have ruined Dickson's career don't you agree? He hasnt played a football match for months yet has done nothing wrong. I reckon he would be champing at the bit to prove the club wrong, and as such we should look to involve him more.

Better than playing Guly Del Prado IMO. Dickson has a nice left foot and is more mobile than Fox. Probably unlikely as he has been frozen out but could it work? I think (know) it could.

He wouldn't come here to be a second choice to Cork and Schinderlin.

I expect Jonno Quick will slot in Davie. Is that to your liking? Im not convinced myself but a player I spoke to said he is often UNPLAYABLE in training. Hard to believe.

Not Seaborne no. Just the idea of a defensive sweeper which is what Turkish referred to seaborne to do. You picked Fonte for it, which is certainly an improvement. Turkish was joking though, do you still genuinely think that formation would work in the Premier league with a midfield of Lallana and Ramirez?

One of the best formations I've seen. As he has said many times he is a qualified coach so I'm sure it would work really well.

You advocated a defensive sweeper lots of times a month or so ago. Yoshida mentioned for the role as well. Part of a 5-2-3 formation I think. That's not your idea mate. Derry suggested Seaborne as a defensive sweeper ages ago.
