I don't think Forecast is seriously considered but he management know they are stuck with him. He won't be named in the 25 man squad, nor play in the Cup and he hasnt played a game in four years at Saints so fair to say he doesn't really count as GK option IMO

Because we all know Forecast doesn't count, we have released to Gs from the Academy and our no 2 has gone. If we want 3 keepers we need to bring two in unless its one plus Chris Johns.

Only interesting bit is Bart which means we may well bring in two keepers unless there is a decent youngster hanging around. Jaidi set to stay in some capacity. Thanks to Connolly...might not have played many games but scored some massive goals!

It's almost like some people think we can just put names on a list that we no longer want and just chuck them out, regardless of contracts. The only first teamers OOC are Bart, Jaidi, Connolly really and they only played about 7 games between them all year!

When Liverpool say they don't necessarily want someone who has managed at the top level that is referring to Champuions League most likely. I am pretty sure they will want someone who has some experience of the Prem.

Agree with this. Only way Adkins would be considered for Liverpool is after a year minimum managing in the prem - showing that he can have an impact at that level. That is the main reason why this thread is stupid. Them appointing him would be like if we sacked Adkins and replaced him with Paul Tisdale.

For us it would be our second biggest transfer ever, for someone who has only scored 2 leagues below the one we will be playing in.

Don't think NA would leave for Liverpool. He used to support them, and still has a soft spot for them but is a Saints fan now. They have good history but havent done anything for ages now. Only Suarez would get into our team...maybe Gerrard but he is never fit.

If anything the Villa performance last year shows how hard the Prem is...there are no easy games. I wonder if some people watch it ever? About 5 of our players would get in Villa's match squad...probably one or two into Fulhams....

Not all Prem grounds are on Fifa I don't think. The players will obviously be rated better though

With those additions we wouldn't be fine. Have you watched the Prem lately? The gap is massive between most prem teams and the Champ. You need to bring in 5 or 6 real quality players to start matches. jarvis fine, but Davis is average, Rhodes totally unproven at a decent level (too big a risk)...

Haha...there's a reason he went to L1 on loan. Dany N'Guessan scored some wonder goals in League One as did Jonno Forte.

Lee Holmes possibly will return to Swindon where he was on loan. L1 his level IMO. Will be interesting to see if Connolly retires or plays on. Cracking L1 player when fit who could do a job for a lower CCC team.

Hooper still worth a look IMO
