Frustrating day today - we are going to struggle taking 20 wickets this season...
-
You also have to commit to spending a certain amount on the Academy per year, quite a bit if I remember about 3m. Stoke are currently upgrading their Academy to be in line with Cat1 requirements.

We won't. If you were at Palace you will know why. Huge game (bigger than tomorrow in many ways) and you could tell after 20mins there was no way we were doing anything but win it.
-
They do seem a threat from set pieces so we need to defend them well.
-
They were lucky tonight and were pummelled for most of the game, Brighton missing a pen and hitting the bar twice. We can hurt them and are great at home.

Biggest game of the season so far...win puts us in a great position defeat would really rock us.....on the way now. COYR!

How many teams actually have these so called hardmen anymore? Plus unless you spend loads the hardmen usually can't pass a ball...then people call for passers!
-
Don't think KD had a chance with either of theirs...
-
Sorry but man up! The selection of Falque or Puncheon, players who have won us Approx 0 of our 79 points will not be the single decisive factor in beating Palace. Have faith.
-
Should be another tough game but one we can win. Agree with the team you have suggested.
-
West Ham play 4-5-1 again, expect them to win though. Barnsley are poor at the moment.

Be interesting to see Richardson take Corners

Would be better to see Fox take them from both sides! His delivery is superb. -
Adkins says he has been banging in the goals during training.

Was a stupid comment but NI really does back up NC's stance on him and I can't seem him suffering fools like NI gladly. He effectively owns Saints so when someone mugs him off don't be suprised if he makes their life tough! Can't blame him really.

Anyone else glad muppets like this are prevented from getting Season Tickets? I wouldn't want this kind of custom in a business I owned.
-
The plan isn't just to get back to the Prem, it is to succeed there - otherwise spending all the money on the team would be the way to go rather than developing the infrastructure. Cortese will only just have started. Football is an addictive business and I think he will like mixing it at the top table of English football...
-
They may also want to retain some of the club in Markus' memory. They could recoup their/his initial investment and still own half of it.
-
Is the perfect summary.

When you think Liverpool spent this one half of Andy Carroll or all of Jordan Henderson then I would say its a pretty sustainable development. Got to say something like this must be an attractive factor for prospective signings too.

Nice write up with quotes on the OS too. Says it is going to set new standards rather than imitate the best of what is out there at the moment.
