Went for numbers rather than quality. Clasie + Romeu hasnt replaced Schneiderlin in anyway, not even attempted to replace his key attributes of agility, high energy, stamina etc Cedric has played 90mins in less than half our games and he + Martina in no way anywhere near Clyne. We have gone from Clyne and Chambers competing for the RB spot to Cedric, Yoshida and Martina Thats the problem.

No idea what shape we are playing now!
-
Caulker is just dire. Only VVD of summer signings has improved us.
-
If ever a moment was setup for JWP to fulfil some potential as a set piece specialist...
-
Our subs are so dull. You know it will be JWP and Long. Neither will do anything.
-
Thia shape looks better and gets Mane involved in better areas more centrally.
-
Rather than blame Koeman, games like this make me more inclined to feel sorry for him. End of the day he is expected to do the same or better without having the same or better players.
-
At least try to get that Randall lad another yellow.
-
Stekelenburg ones of those weird keepers who doesn't look poor but rarely seems to make saves!
-
Clyne and Schneiderlin the most obvious misses of all the players we lost. Cheapy replacements unfortunately who are both obviously decent but both about as unsuited physically to the PL as it is possible to be.
-
Picked out strongest available side IMO. Nothing else he could have done.
-
Thats just wrong IMO. All three goals poor from the defensive aspect. All in multiple ways too.
-
Our CM three lacks so much mobility.
-
Clasie is lost.
-
Agree. Cedric defensively inspires no confidence and Clasie just seems to small and lightweight in this kind of role. Neither are in the same class as the players they replaced unfortunately.
-
Our best XI with those available. Good work Ronnie.

But we treat people in a unique way. What more do you want?

Its on the Saints YT now as well. No mention of RB and obviously the journos weren't bothered to ask as they were interested in who we are selling etc. Plus Klopp, obviously.
-
Yep. Koeman was basically saying he is just interested in winning now, probably knowing Saints there is only a small amount more thats possible to achieve than what he has done. Makes sense in many ways and is what most Managers do.
-
Watch the video and the comments are more in context to the questions asked. He doesn't seem ****ed off to me, just realistic. More interesting to me is where he says he isnt a 'project' type Manager and that he needs to win games in the here and now. Quite different from say, Pochettino, who for Saints and Spurs talks endlessly about his philosophy and plan going forwards. Also confirms Caulker is starting tonight.
-
Klopp said both will be subs again as not fit enough to start. Caulker confirmed as starting by Koeman.

Can see all the comments here: Interesting on a number of topics.

It got rained off I think. In Ireland.

Yeah I'm not fussed with Austin at all.
