I don't think in game tactics is one of RM's strong points. He's never struck me as one who knows how to change the momentum of a game with a clever switch or two.

Call me old fashioned but, with KWP unfit, I'd have played James Bree a recognised right back at er.......right back yesterday. Not sure why RM didn't think of it.

He's completely the wrong fit for an RM side. You see him running freely with the ball then suddenly he stops and looks confused because he knows the mantra is pass, pass and pass again. Doubt he'll ever fit the current set-up or even contribute much as a sub. If we get any decent offers in the summer it's probably time to cash-in.

If one of the criteria being used to select him is because he's captain then that's simply ludicrous.

If you have a right back who is fit and plays the role to a good standard then give him a start rather than picking a centre back in his place. James Bree must be fuming as he sits on the bench watching centre backs trying, and largely failing, to play in his specialist position. RM needs to sort this out although presumably KWP will be back after the break.

I agree on scuffed shots and poor finishing in general. We create lots of chances but only Fraser and Rothwell seem to genuinely know how to strike a ball properly. All players should be spending hours on the training ground until they improve. Nobody expects them to turn into Harry Kane but there are many who need to learn the basics of striking the ball cleanly and accurately.

It's odd that RM decides to take off a player having a very good game especially with an international break coming up. Maybe Smallbone picked up a knock.

Now Ramsdale gifts Brentford a goal. Not sure if he was trying to play out from the back or launch it but, either way, he took too long.

Quite interesting watching Arsenal at the moment. One of the best passing sides in the country yet they have rarely played it out from the back. Ramsdale has mainly kicked or thrown the ball long.

All I can say is that, if we do end up in the play-offs, it won't be for the feint-hearted thanks to the way we let in so many soft goals. These will be huge games and it will be a big gamble to rely on us outscoring whoever we come up against either in the semi-final or the final.

Surely it won't take 20 days to work out that round pegs fit into round holes whereas square pegs fit into square holes. This is a conundrum that 18 month old babies can solve.

Anything is possible with this team 🙂

A host of poor subs and the second ones were a desperate measure. This one is at RM's door. Very poor game management.

Wrong subs at the wrong time. Very poor and now we're chasing without two of our key players. Time for Sulemana to step up to the plate.

Not sure this can affect the international break. If game is called off today maybe it will be squeezed in to when we were due to play leicester.
