The problem we have is that the very clever Rasmus Ankersen believes if it aint broke it should be broken. Trouble is, we are broke and I've not heard what his solution for that is. I'm sure he'll have one and it'll be very left field.

Begs the question why those clever clever people like Ankersen and JW got this appointment so wrong. Somehow they've managed to miss some pretty damning evidence and some glaring clues that clearly pointed to the fact that RM would be a disaster. You'd think Ankersen having screwed up by appointing Jones would be a huge wake-up call and lessons would be learned. But no, after a brief spell of Selles, here we are again. The sheer incompetence is quite staggering.

Apparently RM has been quoted as saying he watched the match on Sky and thought Sheffield United were the better side.

He needs to stick to watching re-runs of Bergerac because his understanding of football is a joke.

RM will come out and says how proud he is of the players and that it's the fans fault for murmuring when the 500th 5 yard pass in a row went to a Leeds player. Oh and despite losing comfortably he'll claim we were the better side. It's as predictable as how we play to be fair.

We don't win the 20/80s in our favour let alone 50/50s. Never seen such a team of abject weaklings.

I've looked at the thread. It's a mixture but not anything like you imply. There is plenty of support and positivity about Martin. Also, many of those expressing doubts outline what they think will go wrong and a lot of it is pretty well spot on 🙂

Explain how the 'crowd, can turn on a manager before he's appointed. A 'crowd' is usually used to describe people in the ground so your flawed theory is impossible.

They'll have watched the videos of us, seen how we play, seen how others have beaten us without breaking sweat and come here with a game plan. We'll set up and play the same so, right into their waiting hands. Candy from a baby springs to mind for this game.

It seems to me football is money for old rope. You don't have to be particularly bright or good at much to land some of the well paid jobs available. As long as you played at a reasonable level or managed to get a badge or two or even can just talk a good game you can con yourself a job and be be set for life. Fuck up in one job, you'll likely receive a huge pay-off and then some other sucker will fall for the snake oil salesman pitch again - rinse and repeat. It's becoming a bit of a joke industry where millions are earned in many cases by people who haven't got a scooby.

Dragan finds himself at a crossroads in my opinion. He threw his hat in the ring with enthusiasm but it's likely he was coerced by the likes of Ankersen who we know now to be all shit and no substance. Dragan parted with a fair chunk of money in various windows and on managers but it was spaffed away. He probably clawed back a wedge of that in the summer window. He is nobody's fool and will have learned that his money is in the hands of a bunch of charlatans who have no clue what they are doing. The temptation for him now must be that he decides enough is enough and let's Ankersen and co try to get out of the mess they've presided over but tells them he won't be chucking much more of his money down the drain other than to keep the club afloat where neccesary. It's a slippery slope we find ourselves on and where the bottom of that slope leads is anyone's guess but it won't be a pretty ride or ultimate destination. I'm not sure how we turn this around now.

It's not this league that's a cesspit - it's our football club. Nothing wrong with the Championship.
