Try looking at the bigger picture - that performance was in no way shape or form acceptable and this is what people are calling out. If you can't or choose not to see that then you probably need to take off the red and white tinted glasses, watch games closer and observe the multitude of mistakes we make and appraise accordingly. I accept that this is not in your remit and you'll continue to seek crumbs of comfort but you're only fooling yourself.

Not a criticism of you but you are stating the bleeding obvious - unfortunately, our manager doesn't agree and is determined to embarrass us by doing things his way which is clearly bonkers but he will continue until the owners decide/realise that he is way out of his depth and unable to coach the method he advocates so strongly. Meanwhile we, the fans, are forced to suffer this garbage week in week out.

If Martin can't set up a side to play decent football against a very poor Stoke side it shows just how limited his talents are. We should have given them a chasing and won by 4 or 5 nil but, in the end, it could have gone either way.
