If we're being honest every one of their players cost millions more than every one of ours and to run them so close was a superlative effort (I get that you said 'as expected')
-
Some saying Wellington came off because he was shattered - I think I spotted him pull up when he felt a twinge as though he'd done his hamstring or calf. He carried on for a bit but I reckon he's probably out for our remaining games now.
-
Let's get back to Wembley and win the Play-Off Final.
-
Lots of good things said about us today by the commentary teams and pundits and not in a condescending way - most of it came across as genuine credit for how the team have developed under Tonda. Always nice to hear because we don't always get the credit we deserve.

A shout out to Nathan Wood for today's performance. I feared he'd struggle but he was an absolute rock alongside THB typified when he made two superb blocks within seconds of each other.
-
Agree but let's remember they've also had a tough game today.
-
Nah, Tonda clearly said 'Thank you'
-
As we used to sing to the Citeh fans, 'Where were you when you were crap'
-
We showed again today that we have the core of a team that will be able to compete in the Premier league. Not every team is anything like as good as City so I'm confident, with Tonda at the helm, we'll do ok if we manage to win the battle of the Play-Offs. Today will give the players so much confidence and appearing at Wembley should give us an advantage should we get there again. This team is building with each new experience and the better times look like they're coming back.
-
It'll be tough after today's efforts but Tonda will work his magic and pick a team to get the job done.
-
Well it was complimentary because you could see Tonda say 'Thank you'
-
Yeah, if only we'd had your mate Baz in goal he'd have saved both their goals 🙂
-
Yeah, he such a tricky and strong player and defenders know he can go inside or out so you can't second guess him. He was the game changer for them today.
-
Liked him from his first games and today he proved he belongs at as high a level as he wants. He was simply immense. He's in the shop window for sure and, if we can't keep him, we should be demanding top dollar - he's added to his value today.
-
Thanks for today Tonda. As usual you had a good game plan and it very nearly worked but for a deflected shot and an absolute worldie. You should feel pride and humility after that.
-
Many defenders try to close Doku down and stop him doing something - few succeed. He is one of the best wingers in the Premier League/World. Tired legs and minds at that stage, let's not criticise because we left nothing out there. We cannot defend perfectly against players like Doku - he's a match winner.
-
Not sure closing down stops their winner - it was simply the most pure strike imaginable from the player you'd least expect it to come from. Nothing is stopping that. Thought Peretz was immense today in everything he did.
-
Harsh to criticise a single player today as they all gave everything they had against better players.
-
Could not be prouder of Tonda and these boys. We scored a fantastic goal and dared to dream but it was not to be. To be beaten by a deflection and a worldie is certainly far from a disgrace. To a man we fought with everything we had and gave them a scare. Doku made the difference. Well played boys and thanks for such a brilliant effort. A word for our defence which put their bodies on the line and tackled, husteld and blocked. Oh and Caspar Jander, take a bow son, what an unbelievable performance - my man of the match today.
-
If we can stay in touch as the game goes deeper anything can happen and one moment of magic can make one of our boys a hero. Our chances now are certainly higher than they were at minute one. Keep the composure, win a high turn over and strike for the kill. Come on you Yellows!!!!

Very good half by us with no major panics. We've defended solidly and restricted them overall. Yes, they've had lots of the ball but we're shutting down their passing lanes in dangerous areas. We've had one or two moments and will need to take more risks as the game goes on but half time at 0-0 is excellent. Their bench is obviously very strong. The longer we stay in the game the more chance we might nick a goal. Encouraging.

Roy Cropper has gone remarkably quiet 🙂
-
Not sure but I think Tonda will play 3 in midfield. Maybe Azaz will start on the bench as he's still struggling after his injury.
