  1. Or maybe it's because we signed a very competent keeper, a good centre forward, brought James Bree back from Brentford and converted to a back four.
  2. Think your glass needs topping up feller.
  3. Clearly because, if proven, this affects two massive games being played today and on Tuesday. If the club know they are in the clear on this (and the only valid excuse could be that the intern went rogue and was acting independently with no written or verbal authority from the club) then they should be saying so quite vociferously ahead of today's game - they don't need to reveal all the details but make it known that we consider we have no charges to answer.
  4. Not true so your 'good authority' would appear to be anything but.
  5. Every team in the land cheats in full view of millions with all the diving and play acting that goes on.
  6. Some have a clubhouse and hotel.
  7. Well the whistle blower thing is clearly rubbish because it's been disputed on Boro's own fans forum by people who have had dealings with the guy and know him to be a fruit loop. As to where the fleeing spy went to change it can't be difficult to establish whether it was a golf clubhouse or a hotel, they are two completely different things - we're told he was seen by witnesses so why would there be a discrepancy.
  8. Not disputing you have heard something but I'd be amazed if anything was leaked before the club make a statement. To leak a single word would be seriously tinpot.
  9. The whistle blower is a fruit loop - that's from Boro fans who have had previous interactions with him.
  10. To be honest considering there were 3 journalists in the car that is a pretty half baked report. None of them attempted to address the many discrepancies in the story coming out of Middlesboro which is just unprofessional. Whilst it my transpire that there was a spy present it should have been important for them to give a much more rounded breakdown on the events based on what is in the public domain. They failed miserably to do that. Nothing has actually been proved and they'll look daft if the actual story is nothing like they've portrayed it to be.
  11. There are two glaring inaccuracies in this report. Firstly original claims say the spy went into a hotel to change whereas this states he went into the golf clubhouse. The second says that a whistle blower has claimed this is not the first time Southampton FC have spied on other teams. Several fans on Boro's own forum dispute this and claim the guy making the claims is a well known fruit cake. There are so many contradictions surrounding this whole episode that it cannot be taken seriously.
  12. I asked the same quetion.
  13. This is a complete lie which puts the whole complaint in doubt. Maybe they should be asked to point to the picture of Will Salt on our official website.
  14. The accused went from a club analyst who Boro staff identified from his photo on our official website to a junior intern who, of course, wouldn't have his photo on the official site. That's quite a stretch.
  15. It's easy when you employ a network of brilliant spies.
  16. Sounds like someone is back tracking.
  17. IDIOT'S GUIDE TO SPYING Wear a disguise but not one that connects you to the crime. If you get caught try to delete any incriminating evidence on your phone. If those detaining you offer you the chance to delete the incriminating evidence that's a bonus but mainly they wouldn't be that stupid. Also if you get caught leg it at the first opportunity - realistically, if you've already been caught this is unlikely to be an option. However, if they gave you the chance to delete evidence you could be on to a winner. Use the most low tech equipment available in case it is confiscated - no drones or highly sophisticated cameras. If your original disguise was not the most sensible choice, take a back-up. You may get the opportunity to run into a nearby hotel toilet and get changed. If you are a lowly office junior with little relevant experience you are probably not ready for a career in espionage. Maybe read a few books by John Le Carre or Ian Fleming just to get a feel for it.
  18. Players look fairly relaxed considering there's a spy in the camp.
  19. Yeah and how do they manage to identify a junior intern from photos on our club website? - he won't be in them!
  20. There are always plenty of heavies at professional football training grounds - that's a lot of valuable stock that needs protecting. Why didn't Boro round up a few and send them covertly to jump on the spy and then deliver him to the plod complete with incriminating Saints tracksuit and phone loaded with footage of the Boro stars going through their paces? Instead those dealing with the incident made him delete the incriminating evidence and sent him on his way whereupon, according to them, he went into a hotel toilet and made a quick change.
  21. I think the key to all this is the fact that we are being asked to believe a spy turned up at Boro's training ground wearing a Saints football tracksuit. I mean presumably he realised that it wouldn't be a smart idea to give any clues away. Or are we meant to believe that he wore the tracksuit because he was on duty? He was then instructed to delete the footage from his phone presumably because there actually wasn't any - if there was surely that's a key piece of evidence. Can you imagine what the CPS would make of this nonsense 🙂 This smacks of somebody on a wind up to get themselves in the news and Boro, the press and news agencies have fallen for it hook line and sinker..
  22. This smacks of a bumbling Inspector Clouseau like character.
  23. Pot, kettle and black spring to mind.
  24. Would be bonkers to deny all knowledge unless the club know for a fact that it's a fabrication. If he's done it our best way out is to say he acted without club permission and sack him immediately. If he was spying he certainly needs to stick to his day job although he likely won't have one much longer.
